Grateful for heron and water vole or possibly a shrew when I did a bonus run around a small lake. My pace, my push and not many people left at a humid dusk. So much better than a classroom. And one freelance contract interview kerching!
Omg and I almost reported my own post just to see what the exclamation mark is! Good option though, I guess.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hi turtles, usual not been here over weekend and had a day off work yesterday. Just needed my own space been getting really anxious about a few things lately. Glad of the football to divert my overthinking things.NSD including today will be 11/15.Nice day off yesterday visited a local island, beach walk and few nibbles from Weityrose for lunch. Got very humid in afternoon so returned home and slept on the sunlounger. Think it was needed after kids weekend and doing a few favours for friends. Lesson learnt don't put bags of cement in shopping trolley, couldn't get them out. Eek. Nevermind managed to deliver them.Looking fwd to football tonight, last night's was immense.Feeling more postive than I have lately.Booked to have nails and pedicure done next week. Treat time I am worth it.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/225

Lost another pound this week. That's about half a stone this month. It's going in the right direction.
It's been really hot here. I've spent a lot of time outside today tending to my plants. They are all growing nicely and blooming beautifully. It's looking really cheery and the grass on the communal area is covered in daisies, buttercups and clover. Very pretty.
It's also been remarkably quiet. I think the children have gone for various days out to take advantage of the sunshine. It's been good to have some peace and quiet for a change.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
I have spent today, 79p in Herr Leedl (ys h0vis loaf and a big pot of ys soya yogurt) and then went to the long legged wading bird shop, 50p branded shortcrust pastry x 4 (now living in my freezer), a bottle of Hendersons relish (think vegan Lea & Perrins £1.50) so at least it was a low spend. Then got home and found DS3 had left his packed lunch on the kitchen table.Tomorrow is payday. Hooray! Got about £6 excess leftover. All food from stores - roasted veg and g/f cous cous (now named corn cous) for lunch with some stuffed vine leaves (from a tin) and 3 home made pizzas for supper (not from a tin). I do love pizza, and it has used up all sorts of bits of things out of the fridge - even some capers (eeek!) but they like them, so on they went - well, on their half anyway. Technically a vegetable I suppose. So cheap, and you know what is in it if you diy. I remind the kids it would be £20+ if we bought them from XXminos, but not sure they hear me.Had to buy road tax. Boo! But it is not negotiable, so £155 on the cc for next month.Going to make mango lassi overnight oats for tomorrow, they are so nice that it can be either breakfast, or pudding.

Evening turtles, disaster today as someone swiped the side of my car on my way to work! Spent the morning sorting that, my insurance company have already collected it. Silly me I left my keys inside so had to scramble to go and get them just now and am finally on my way home! They've offered me a hire car but it's only free if I'm found not at fault, need to upload my dash cam footage first so that they can give it to the other party. For now I'll take the train to work when needed as I budget for that anyway and then use our zip cars. Just a bit of a pain, there's quite a bit of damage to my car, it's only cosmetic but it's extensive.
I've been naughty and bought some wine so please send me to the chaise longue! I won't mind after a day like today!
Grateful for no harm being caused to anyone in todays accident, for getting things underway with insurance, and for finally getting to the end of Tuesday!6 -
Oooh, f0xh0les, I've never heard of gf couscous! I shall have a look for it. Merci!Toni'sfriend, well done on that half stone. It doesn't seem long ago that you were talking about being fed up and needing to do something and you did. Go you!Off you go to the chaise longue, lcc, with your bottle!!Today I am grateful for an excellent counselling sesh, for starting to clear small amounts of space, for writing some tricky emails, for swapping back 2 tables and all of us feeling how much better it is like that, for free books on the library app.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

I think wine’s more than acceptable @lcc86. Glad everyone is ok.
I’d planned to do a quick grocery shop today but didn’t. Too hot to be bothered. That means I’m on NSD 17.
Grateful today for more glorious weather, a walk with a friend, and our soda stream for making fizz to scratch my itchy hay fever throat.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸6 -
NSD#14
Another overcast day. Walked with hubby after breakfast. Couldn't decide which job to do, so didn't do any of the ones in my head, painted the fence instead! After dinner, I broke up lots of branches & filled 2 bucketfuls of tiny bits to go on the compost heap. Elbows were sore afterwards. Cleared some of the partially burnt things from our bonfire site, not having any more as a spark melted a hole in the new windbreak netting. The extension will be built over the bonfire site one day, so clearing it ready/to make it look tidier! Finished my book, only started it Saturday night ☺️
Grateful for more spaces getting tidier, a nice looking fence, good booksUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

This is my final check-in for June. Thanks as always @mothernerd for the challenge. Maybe one day I’ll brave writing one.
June has has been my best month for NSDs since joining the NST in October last year. I reached 17 this month which I’m really pleased with. It’s especially helpful to have got those NSDs since I somehow messed up our budget this month to the extent we’ve got £4 left in our current account, and I’ve been anxiously watching it for over a week to make sure we didn’t go overdrawn.
Very grateful to all of you in the NSTs. This thread is my place of comfort and reflection at the end of the day.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸4 -
Morning everyone
I achieved an NSD yesterday taking my total this month to 5!! I will be spending today as i need cat food - well the cats do but YSWIM
Yesterday was ups and downs; ups - football obviously & achieved a lot at work; downs - DD2 rang late in the evening as she was upset and anxious. She was going to come home for the day but it is too expensive on the train and timings not good so she will come home on Thursday and go back Fri eve.
I finally managed to get a phone consultation with my GP, booked a week ago, and have cream for my skin rash - hope it works. DD1 is counting the days to the end of term.
I got an email from prolific saying i have a bonus payment of £30??! Not showing in my prolific account yet...
Gratitudes - sunny days; being able to WfH most of the time; nice colleagues in all 3 of my jobs; DDs can ring me with their worries
