NSD 11 here. Most days from hereon in should be NSD's as I've overspent and I don't have anything to buy, still no idea how I've messed the budget up...
Yesterday I ordered some protein powder as I'm running low, and sorted out some stuff for my upcoming Iceland trip. Only a couple more bits to do. Feels weird to be going abroad, this trip was booked in 2019 and now it's finally happening I feel a bit odd about it! Part of me wouldn't mind not going but it's on the green list so insurance wouldn't cover me if I didn't go. Also painted the radiator (finally!) and all the windowsills.
Today I went for a swim this morning then went for a short horse ride, did some schooling with him, then came home and fell asleep! Not for very long I don't think but it was just enough. Got a few jobs done around the house this afternoon, need to list some stuff on ebay for mum that I've been putting off.5 -
Today I am grateful for a good night's sleep, for my first crop of rasps, for a chat with a friend, for a good book, for Lilty turning up on my diary (mothernerd, greent- do you remember her? She only joined in with the turtle gang for maybe a couple of months)

I've been working all weekend, so apart from milk I've spent nothing. Only a week of school left here as well. I need to get a holiday childcare chart drawn up- if I don't have a chart and everything organised it turns into a nightmare.
Nothing exciting planned for this week and no unusual spending planned.6 -

evening,
Had a frustrating day at work with uncooperative tech and waiting for others to send me stuff. Logged off at 4.30 and went for a walk then did my exercise class on Fb. Have eaten well today and am going to have a bath and get to bed early.
Had quote for a new carpet for DD2's bedroom so have paid deposit and ordered for next week.
Gratitudes - nice chat with DD1 who sounded cheerful; DD2 had a good first day at work; supportive & understanding friend

An early start today, as had to take hubby to the airport for a day trip to Aberdeen hospital. All ok after the initial hiccup where they had to change planes after only just fastening their seatbelts.
My big news though, is I decided to see how much my mortgage redemption figure was & I HAVE PAID OFF OUR MORTGAGE!!!! The fixed rate didn't end until December, but the figure for paying off then wasn't much different ftom paying off now. Plus as an extra bonus, on logging in to my other current account, which I haven't used for a couple of years, I found I still had money in the connected savings account to it! Thought it'd been transferred after 12 months were completed, but it wasn't, so I'm a very happy lady. This can all go towards getting our extension built, especially now we have to get someone in to build it for us, with hubby not being well enough 😃
Grateful for being mortgage free for the first time ever, surprise savings, hubby getting on ok in AberdeenUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
