Prolific Academic is great because you can cash out via pal-pay at £5 and so it goes into your bank account immediately on request. They don't mine your data, as they are mostly concerned with stats for a particular piece of academic research - hence the p/a name, some of it is utterly bonkers, lots of surveys (laptop/desktop get more than mobile but there are a good amount of mobile suitable surveys too) most very short, there is no time wasting involved, there is no screening out nonsense, they pay out fast and they are my best source of ambient income. Surveys in French/German/Spanish usually pay 2 or 3 x the rate in native.

Hi hope you all had a great day and here its a lovely chilled drizzle, good for paperwork. And getting caught up.
SO I have nit been a good MSE this month, and I am now over budget. so shall be keeping a lowly profile for the rest of the month, but the fridge and the car is full, so all is good.
I just have one little problem, and honestly it is pretty disgusting - I think I have a carpet beetle infestation as I have found about 20 grey wiggelies - quite big in my bathroom for the last 24 hours, seems to appear in 3's. I just cant work out where they are coming from. So I am booking a carpet cleaner for the stairs for next weekend, hopefully not too late and I'll be cleaning everything else carefully in the mean time. But really. I hate bugs(inside) I think some critter must have flown in while it was hot, and done someting unmentionable in a ye unidentified corner.
SO that is my worry today and I am grateful for an afternoon to myself in the house. As ds1 has gone home to his uni house for a week and ds2 has gone of to meet with his dad. And grateful for a club run yesterday with lovely folks and a lake swim this morning.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Oh no! @ditty1234 Say no to the unwelcome lodgers - just a thought, have a g00gle of moth larvae - grey wigglers does not sound like beetles to me. Hopefully that is the culprit, and easily got rid off if you just stick everything through on a proper hot wash and add some cedar balls infused with sandlewood to your towel storage system, then that is the non-toxic way to discourage those old moths.Today will be NSD 9 over here in a grey but dry(ish) Le Shire. Went out this morning and cut the front hedge - left it until after 10 so nobody complained. Did all the laundry and it is on the line - not sure it has got the memo, but at least it is not getting wetter out there.Kids tidying and hoovering their bedrooms v e r y s l o w l y i n d e e d.Going to make a big dish of mango lassi overnight oats, a fruit pie - with a rescued slightly 00D tin of pie filling and the le ftover pastry from last night's massive pasty-thon - then hoovering and cleaning the bathrooms. That leaves the ground floor to do on Monday.Gratitudes - Kerrang Radio, DH liking his 'Happy Fathers' Day presents - if he is not happy he does not get any and has to wait for 'Grumpy Fathers' Day' TM which as yet does not exist, or it is every other day, who knows? - and having a plan, even if it is sketchy as heck, and sometimes falls over.Come 0n Wales!!!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

They're big over one cm, so I don't think they're moth - I looked at a identification chart and decided it was carpet beetle, as there is no textiles nearby, only a a very manky landing carpet and a bird nest over bathroom under roof! (But I can't see how they can get down through ceiling). But yes it is time to get the moth stuff for the year.
So drove ds 1 to tran in cambridge and it made me homesick, as in my old city, country people ride bikes and look cool (not me) but still, and it is a fact - I need a new job and I want to move. Time to get working, no more complaining, I have done an embarrassing amount of that over the years, and it is time for an other surge. Have already found about 10 - so I can fulfil that part of my intention for the month.
Foxholes - i hope your lassi turns out good. It is a fav drink.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

It's been a spendy weekend. Visit to the local butcher yesterday, Tesco delivery today and I forgot about a birthday (because I hadn't put it in my birthday book) so I've had to buy a gift and get it delivered.
The Boy is coming for dinner. I'll have to get him to replace the ink cartridge on my printer because I've forgotten how to do it and I have to return a parcel because they've sent the wrong colour. I'm also waiting on delivery of a curtain pole which has obviously got lost but I have to wait till Wednesday to get a refund and buy another. Once I get that the tarting up of the bathroom should be finished and I can start on somewhere else.
It's quite muggy here today. Not very pleasant really.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -

Another overcast day. I'm very achy after all my work in the garden yesterday. Went a walk with hubby first thing, then spent the rest of the morning cleaning. Lots of ironing this afternoon, then paperwork. Think that apart from washing up after tea, I'm going to relax & not do a huge amount!
Grateful for hubby liking his Father's Day things, all 3 boys making him cards, a neighbour calling in when passing, to see how he was keeping (with dialysis, etc), one week left at work before we break up for the holidaysUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
