Take some time today to simply sit on the turtle chaise longue and let the coiled spring inside you unwind a little.

Dr Carrie me too, just showing up is about all my head can get around to atm.Spent today, ordered new pillows haven't enough for kids staying at weekends, a little dress might have slipped in the order as well, feeling tad down in dumps today. Chaise longe still got space?Boss forgot to pay me today, so had a grizzle at him this morning, then as milk was off went to get fresh milk for the office after going down lots of flights of stairs work on third floor realized hadn't got a face mask with me. So back up and down all the stairs again. My eyes are itchy and booked to go to NT garden after work, have to be a very quick walk around as it's only open for another hr after time slot I have booked. See if I feel like racing there later on or prefer a leisurely walk along country lanes instead.Had a lovely beach walk at lunchtime and yes an ice cream. I blame hay fever. I am failure at scrimping and saving this month.Tomorrow got hairdressers so still no NSD eek.Enjoy the nice weather whilst it lasts.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

I have been in the garden but tried to do the fun bits. About 20 tomato and pepper plants are now in their 'forever homes'. More than 20 savoy cabbage seedlings are now in individual pots (cut down 2 l bottles). Nearly all the watering spikes have been attached to small bottles with the bottom cut off. 5 spinach and 10 lollo rosso seedlings are also in individual pots. One filing cabinet body is now nearly behind the shed - it got stuck behind the water butt and I was too tired to struggle so gave it a good telling off and a warning about non-cooperation in the morning. The climbing rose which is mum's birthday present has been left to soak and the tub it is going in has travelled most of the way across the yard ( I had to move soil to make a pathway through but had blocked off my next stage - won't take long but didn't want to do any more).
Food delivery came and everything has been put away. Found two more exciting items when I was getting my lunch out of the freezer. Have nearly spent all my budgets except for travel (£3/ 35). Will simplify my plans for visiting my house (no trip to b'n;q for a new grid- can wait until next month, will just use some netting to stop leaves etc going in there.
Grateful for different foods - included a veggie pizza and garlic bread in the order as it's something mum likes every now and then, plants in their pots and a good book.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
evening everyone
Had to go into work yesterday, was very hot and stuffy and i had to go up and down the stairs about 6 times from my desk area on the second floor, to the ground floor meeting rooms - good for my legs i suppose!
Yesterday was another spendy day - bought DD1 a vase from Will & co as the swedish emporium didn't have them anymore and then met my brother for tea. He lives abroad but works at sea so has been here since March as he can't go 'home' till he's fully vaccinated. By the time that has happened (hopefully this weekend) he will have to go back to sea! Was lovely to see him after about 18 months and i paid for tea! He usually pays (earns loads more than me) but i thought i should treat him and he'd driven nearly 160 miles round trip for the pleasure of my company
Today has been a productive WfH day.
The decorators have finished the kitchen so i am slowly deep cleaning it and putting some stuff back - but not all of it! I have to pay them so it will be a big spendy day.
Gratitudes - seeing my brother; lovely drive home through beautiful countryside and villages; sunshine in the NW; tennis on TV during lunch

Today I am grateful for the rain eventually cooling the day down a little bit, for where I work, for dh being able to collect dd when they sent her home from school, for a really good and helpful online meeting with some mental health people with dd, for the greenery out there!
