Well as before this stuff is realllly strong flavoured. I certainly wouldn't put it on a potato or even 10 potatoes. A small portion on a bit of really nice pasta perhaps. But frankly I'm going to look for it the next time I'm going through my freezer and probably throw the remains out. Then again I only paid 29p for it.

On the subject of weird flavours - I saw this in Morroson's earlier - costing a ridiculous £2.85!!

Just made a recipe for hot cross bun butter from
Weird texture but very nice on toast, really does make it taste like h.c.bun. Mind you, I used dried fruit from Rumtopf which were very juicy rum infused.

On the subject of weird/disgusting flavours, the last time I was in B+M I saw they had creme egg flavoured coffee syrup 😣

I got some of the Aldi Essentials Cheddar Slices this week, and they are decidedly odd. They are drier and less creamy than before, also weirdly translucent compared to opaque normality.
Hopefully this is just a bad batch rather than a new, "improved" recipe.

Have you offered feedback to CS? Its not often that Aldi gets things wrong.

Talking of cheese, the aldi 400g cheese has come down from £2.79 to £2.49. Nice to see something coming down in price.

Lidl herring in cream sauce not been in my local small Lidl for a while.
Wondered if anyone knows if it is available in larger stores?
I did email Lidl to ask if it's available in larger stores but they came back with a stock reply, that their products change from time to time.
