Living in Scotland, you will know what a decent berry really tastes like.

I'm going to hold off going to Morrisons until next Friday when I am heading in the direction of the airport (Morrisons in the vicinity). The extortionate cost of petrol needs to be factored into any food shops I do that don't involve walking / a planned journey.

I agree @Rosa_Damascena . I live in a big city with multiple branches of all supermarkets but only the one Morrison's which is at the furthest point from my home. I only go there if I need to be at that side of the city.

Morrison's are advertising their offers in national newspapers but when I went a few weeks ago (when they advertised £1.50 chickens IIRC), there were just empty shelves. It's not worth the cost of fuel to make a special journey just to find the offers aren't available.

Is your Lidl store still stocking these because for the last 2 weeks there's been none in mine ?

The strawberries I got yesterday from Lidl (£1.59 for a punnet) were good. Not excellent but I'm happy to have had some for my breakfast. I do wish they'd had some indication of variety though.

I am sure you have posted similar before. Drosphilia are not harmfui when ingested but neither do they comply with my strict vegetarian diet. OTOH I cannot believe they are the only plant that hides bugs invisible to the naked eye.

I've just finished my pack btw - made 500g stretch over 3 days by serving with HM ice cream.

I discovered last year (but too late) that there's a local place that grows blueberries. I'm looking forward to those as soon as the season starts!!
