When I had a complaint about some ham I had bought at Lidl, I telephoned them. A very pleasant young man took my details and the details of the product including barcode and batch code, appologised and said they would investigate and get back to me. Two days later I received a letter telling me to go to the store with the letter and I would be refunded. I chose to get it replaced by another packet as it was a one off bad pack and this was done at the normal till.PLRFD said:No reply about the dodgy fish yet still waiting.
In my local lidl you can only use the self serve till if you just have a basket. No trolleys allowed even if you only have a few things.2 -
Same experience I emailed complaint when they eventually got back to me I had to go in store show photos of item and receipt took the person on till ages to look and understand and all I got was a refund no sorry no nothing…..1

I watched a programme last night ( called Tonight on ITV?). They compared a trolley of Christmas food from Aldi with M&S. The Aldi trolley was (in round figures) £40 but the M&S was £124!!!!. I know where my Christmas food will be coming from. 🤣6

Never saw it, but seems a cheap shot, choose a known cheap store versus a an expensive one, why not compare with Fortnum & Mason's plus Harrod's while they were at it?maman said:I watched a programme last night ( called Tonight on ITV?).
