It's best before end date, though they don't seem to put the word end in anymore, so can see why it is confusing. So it is best before the end of 27 Feb in your example.2 -

Had the £2.49 Vindaloo with rice from Aldi yesterday and the flavour was really good, not the fieriest I have ever had but amazing for the price. It was actually much better than the recent ones from Morrisons, M&S and Sainsburys.3

They had devised an in-store equivalent to the Spin of Surprises to determine which treat you'd get.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Don't know if anyone can throw any light on this or whether it's all Lidl's?When I went 2 weeks ago to our small Lidl, there was no Bellarom original coffee (square jar, brown lid). When I went this week, there was still none and there was no Bellarom rich roast (red lid).2

The best before date, sometimes shown as BBE (best before end), is about quality and not safety. After the best before date listed on a product, the food will be safe to eat but may not be at its best.

Bought Cherry Tomatoes at Aldi - when I opened most were mouldy - won't do that again tather pay a bit more and be able to keep for 7 days without deterioration. Opened day of purchase. But not obvious looking through plastic when buying.
(Should have listened t posts that said veg wasn't prticularly long lived)0 -
