annoyingly they haven't got their usuals, i like double glos or cheddar with onion//chives but no sign in aldi or lidl. Lidl also sell pretty much same specials. Not sure of Lidl price tho.

If you like the fancy cheeses from Aldi- eg with cranberries, with onions, smoked etc they are on offer @ £1.49 ?- saving of 50 pence until ?? 7th? of Feb. (Not sure about the date!)
That's been the case since the New Year. They taste ok but tend to be very soft for what is supposed to be hard cheese. I prefer a good extra mature cheddar that slices well.

So much to read, so little time.

We were quite restrained at Christmas and the OH picked up one of those mixed boxes of very nice cheese from somewhere (M7S perhaps?) So no dodgy bits hanging around for weeks starting to breed new life at the bottom of the fridge.  Then again he also has a habit of picking up whatever euro cheese is offered at Lidl whether it be old Gouda or fresh Roquefort.  So there's always a few dubious little packets of something cheesy to hand.  Just not tonight when we need some feta - nope - none in the fridge!!
