Just looked at my Lidl Plus app and was pleasantly surprised to see a £5 off £10 spend. I haven't set foot in Lidl for all of 3 weeks as I have been away!No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Aldi Specially Selected Venison & Red Fruit Pate... delicious.3

I had a snoop around Aldi just before closing time this evening and similarly to my reaction to Lidl's festive fare, was not tempted by any of the Christmas delicacies at today's prices.I gratefully noted that Aldi now does ladies' Footcare up to size 8 now, for ankle-length snow boots at least. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Not food! In Aldi today.
Just bought a mini air fryer @ &16.99. There's only me so that will be a perfect size.
Also bought a friend an ' adult knitted jacket' @ £9.99. It's really cozy with furry lining. I gave it to her now because I needed to check the size. It's a perfect fit & she is thrilled. (have looked a charity shop offers & they are at least £5 for some thing on the tatty scale!)
On the food front their fresh beer battered or bubbled cod fillets are nice. Not cheap but a great deal cheaper than buying fish & chips from the chippie.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Aldi Sharing Tubs of (Tiny) Crackers appeared a few months ago (I think they were more expensive previously). Now they are 99p, and you get a lot of tiny crackers for that.
Two flavours: Cheese and Garlic & Herb. The Cheese flavour is subtle (not the intense flavour of things like Cheddars). The Garlic & Herb is very reminiscent of the smell that wafts out of Subway (the herby bread smell). They also have seeds in the G&H crackers, making them crunchier. Probably really good for party food, either as they come or with something on them.5 -
I've been having a clear out and am a bit surprised about the amount of food in the fridge past its best. This is very much a "don't buy" from Lidl - purchased at £2.49 or thereabouts. I had a single dose with tonic water - not to my taste - and once open it separated:
