@Sallyp2 I found it easier to keep pet exes separate, food bills really don`t fluctuate, just any vet bills, same with car exes, ins, tax and petrol approx the same, just any repairs bills to pay.
Very small shop £4.09, will add £1.30 from last weekDo I need it or just want it.6 -
Sallyp2 said:Few recent spends. £12.40 JS and £11 market fish van = £23.40
Grand total £125.72 / £350
Should I include the cheeky £2 white magnum brought yesterday as part of grocery spend?

My listing goes a bit like this - my month is 27th to 26th of month and I did not withdraw my cash until 5 days after payday. The budget is for 2 adults and 2 dogs and have included for the first time the dogs food. Total to be £200. I try to hold off shopping as much as I can as we do waste food shamefully. We are getting better at emptying the fridge. Total balance today is £92. There is a deficit in the "shopping purse" of £4 approx. Clearly missed logging something there. See if I can pull back that
Have a good week

My fridge is bursting at the seams and I need to go through and inventory so I don't waste anything. Also need to reconcile spends as I've gone really off piste with unexpected SM trips. Meal plans prepped for the next few days, just need DH to stick to them now. I have literally emptied the fridge and freezer through to the end of the weekend so Monday the house will be bare! With that in mind, I’ll need a cheap meals week next week and might resort to a few subs for fresh fruit for my daughters porridge etc such as dinner peaches. The rhubarb didn’t go down very well at all so will make crumble at the weekend and us adults will scoff that instead. I’m hoping for a bit from olio at the weekend to manage Mondays lunch but otherwise I’ll be back to the supermarket Sunday. What’s your cheapest meal idea that usually flys with everyone at home?Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

Popped to JS and stuck to list. Aiming to use up last nights chilli by having chilli dogs today. OH literally cannot wait and it eliminates food waste. Win Win
Spent £6.65 = £124.08/£350
edit: saw JS receipt and have £22.50 worth Nectar points. Have decided to keep building this up for Xmas as food prices are only going one way this year!- Grocery Challenge: April £263.60 / £250
