Don't people realise they don't have to use the pump on the same side of their car's fuel cap?

This most definitely doesn't! Fuel filler on the left side.Deleted_User said:I just fill up at quiet times e.g early morning or late night and avoid fuel forecourts during rush hour times.
Oh and I'm sick of hearing people say that ALL cars have an arrow pointing where the fuel flap is. FALSE - my previous 3 cars never had such arrow.

I use the pump same side if its free but have no problem using the opposite side if it means avoiding a queue. Just make sure you line the back of the car up with the hose and get as close to the pump as you can. Not sure how a rubber hose is going to scratch your car, never had a problem myself.0

I have used the opposite side at Tesco garages many many times without an issue. Maybe there was another reason they refused to serve you.jazzy said:A Tesco garage refused to serve me a few years ago when I parked on the opposite side of the fuel pump. I haven't used Tesco garages since.0 -

Not sure it is - and it certainly isn't a Swallow, like that one.
It's not a lot bigger - I'm thinking a little Riley, perhaps?0 -
I'm saying that not all cars do have an arrow as my last 3 cars didn't have an arrow.oldagetraveller1 said:
