I dont see a todays costs for my electric on agile, but for gas its £0.39 on v3 tracker.0

I wasn't suggesting anyone was wrong. All I was pointing out was that the latest Tracker version is 'July 22 version 1' which has a much higher Cap than the original Version 1. If I recall, Version 1 was the first Tracker gas tariff to have a Cap as previously a Cap wasn't necessary.Chrysalis said:
Isnt April 2022 to July 22 a few months?Dolor said:
Actually, they didn’t. They went from version 3 to July 22 v1. The implication being that they were worried about rising prices and they thought that may have needed to release a July 22 v2 tariff.Chrysalis said:
Thanks, thats interesting, so they went from v1 to v2 to v3 and now a new v1 all in the space of a few months.bristolleedsfan said:
V1 available until April 2022
Then a few months v2 came and expired, v3 came and expired..
Are you saying bristolleedsfan reply was wrong?
So V1 was available as recently as April 2022. V1 -> V2 -> V3 -> July 22 V1 in a 3 month period.
Since people misinterpret so easily on here, by expired I mean availability to sign up to it.

A new high - for me, without caps, tomorrow's electricity UR would be 80.18p/kWh, twice the capped rate!

Hi. Been eyeing the Octopus tracker and would like to know how often the caps have changed in past for potential hike given wholesale prices (per guy lipman tables pre-capped)?

I read somewhere you keep the tracker caps for 12 months as exist on the day you sign up. Is this correct?0 -
Caps are honoured for 12 months though Octopus could change them but haven’t done só up to now. The cap was introduced in October last year and changed for new customers in March, April and July this year. Existing customers were not affected. Hope this helpsIrratus_Rusticus said:Hi. Sorry The Cap in April did not change but the standing charge was increased1

Slight corrections/clarification (specific dates are IIRC):9th April - Tracker v2 introduced, increase in UR caps (v1 SCs retained)26th April - Tracker v3 introduced, increase in SCs (v2 UR caps retained)July - Tracker July 2022 v1 introduced, increase in UR caps (v3 SCs retained)I think that's correct?3

Apologies for incorrect information. I applied to go on gas tracker v1 on 28th March and was refused so I thought V2 was introduced in March.SJMALBA said:Slight corrections/clarification (specific dates are IIRC):9th April - Tracker v2 introduced, increase in UR caps (v1 SCs retained)26th April - Tracker v3 introduced, increase in SCs (v2 UR caps retained)July - Tracker July 2022 v1 introduced, increase in UR caps (v3 SCs retained)I think that's correct?1 -
@tlcgrantham: Do they explain why a refusal? Or is it just a ceiling of users on the tracker at any given time?0
