How does an existing customer move onto tracker?
Following the link provided only seems to be for new customers.0 -
Contact them directly - e-mail/twitter/phone. Following the link doesn't work for new customers either (out of curiosity I clicked through when logged out, just takes to the usual page of 'most people are better off staying where they are').MarcoM said:How does an existing customer move onto tracker?

I did it by Twitter yesterday afternoon, and just in time. Response was within an hour. I had emailed earlier in the day and had had no response to that.
But with that huge hike to the cap, not much point now for anyone else.
No free lunch, and no free laptop

I think that sort of rules out Tracker as a 'backdoor' way to a cheap 12 month fix, cheap being a relative term at the present time. For electricity it leaves Octopus Go and 'Go Faster' looking quite attractive, in my area (Merseyside) the day rate is 42.29p KwHr, which is obviously less than 53.83p that will apply from 1st October, plus you get cheap night hours. Whilst this is not advice or recommendation, I would have thought those rates are not going be around for much longer.0

A relative of mine enquired this morning and was told they would receive a response later today. Hopefully they’ll squeak through, but they’re not holding their breath.0

Damn it. Emailed yesterday to go onto the tracker tariff and no response yet. Looks like I've missed it 😞
Ah well. I'll stick with the SVR for gas and 55p Agile for electricity.0 -
Agile has now increased too

The wording on the website states if you made your inquiry before 16:00 on the 29/08 then they will honour the previous cap. So if you push your case with a CS representative you may well get them to agree, that sending an email which presumably arrived in their systems before 16:00 met that criteria.
