Telegraph_Sam said:Most people "ditching" Tracker = moving electric to Tomato? Or to the 16 month fix.
But keeping gas with Tracker?Fixed gas on 02Jan25, onto 12 month Dec 24 v1 fix. (Emailed them 3 hours before they pulled that tariff. Eek.)Fixed electric on 27Jan25 onto 14 month Jan 25 v1.Have solar export with Octopus, so I'll be staying with them, and just checking for new tariffs periodically. The Feb fix doesn't beat my current tariffs (East Midlands).0 -

Why can't I find any mention of Tracker (any version) within All Our Tariffs? Even if its days are numbered I would have expected a memorial.Telegraph Sam

Yes thanks that's exactly what I was searching for. Not least to see how it compares with the "historic" Dec 23 v1. Looks like the SC's have improved so it will be a case of comparing the new/old unit costs under the market conversion formulas.Telegraph Sam

So I need to compare the unit costs for Dec 24 against Dec 23 and the 16 month fix, and the Flexible, for one moment in time (for the North East) to assess the effect of whatever conversion formulas they are now using. Tough.Telegraph Sam

Go to Octopus' "All our tariffs", pop in your postcode and tick "Domestic". That will give prices for all current options for your region. Tracker shows today's price. Compare with your rate today.
Or use Gas Tracker or similar to get Tracker recent history for the various versions.0 -
For some reason that didn't work. May be because I specified smart and variable. And tried putting Tracker in the search box. I may have to resort to gastrackerTelegraph Sam
