As I approach the Time of Decision for the Dec 23 v 1 population, I feel that the sheer volume of MSE posts - most of which negative - referring to Tomato E's admin as an alternative, is enough to cause second thoughts for the medium term. In addition my wish to continue getting the (modest) Octopus export credits, which I just cannot see TE handling competently. I feel that I am locked in to the Octopus stable.

Are there many left on here, other than @Telegraph_Sam, who haven't ditched Tracker yet?

    I ditched it already.

Ditched. Just had my January gas bill, the most expensive ever at £103 for the month, currently on a fix, I know there was a few weeks the temp was below zero, but still. RIP Tracker, you saved me a hell of a lot of money over the last three or was it four years.....

It would be interesting to know what resuts (and conclusions) contributors have got from doing their own "Compare's" over various time scales. These should be directly comparable with the fixed tariffs??

So the 16 month is slightly cheaper than the 14 month on electric and slightly more on the gas (I am in North West)

The new fix is slightly cheaper on gas as well for me in Mersey region so just moved over to that.

I've never been on Tracker for electricity.
I'm still with Tracker for gas.

In Yorkshire the 16 month fix is slightly higher than 14 month fix. So I’ll stick with 14 months but will keep watching for alternatives. Having no exit fees means I can swap easily if a better option comes along.

Most people "ditching" Tracker = moving electric to Tomato? Or to the 16 month fix.
    But keeping gas with Tracker?

I've not been looking at fixes but a quick check now shows the 16mth for 25.56p/kWh in the Eastern region (or 25.33p for the no-longer-available 14mth fix).  SVT is 25.57p.  Absolutely no point whatsoever, in my eyes, other than as insurance against price rises.  But if we hadn't had Cosy as an option, I'd have been hoping Agile was viable again by April when the price cap next changes, and just ride out the SVT until Agile was an option again.
