( I know some may say yes if you lie)
edit oh and of course there is Economy 7
I am not suggesting this to be clear like others have done repeatedly on this forum.
As a side note since we joined Cosy Octopus have not checked that we have a heat pump but then again perhaps they can tell from our usage profile?

My electricity is on Agile (and this will probably be moved to Cosy). With only another month ish of using heating in earnest, I’m wondering whether I just pick whatever gives me the lowest standing charge. Would prefer to stay with Octopus 🐙 as I’m not interested in moving the electric
Both Agile and Tracker are high atm and I don't see them coming down in the short term (next couple of months). With the option open to switch back to either tariffs any time you want, I thought it was the sensible option, especially with Agile prices as they are currently.0 -
For my first year or two on Octopus Go, my EV was one of these. It met their definition:Octopus Go is designed for customers who either own or have a long-term lease of a battery electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid vehicle that they will be charging at their home that we supply.
- Own? Check.
- Battery electric vehicle? Check.
- Charging at home? Check.
- Which we supply? Check.

Splitting hairs perhaps but I believe that T Dec 24 is marginally cheaper due to the formulas than its predecessorTelegraph Sam

Back when we had a PHEV (prior to the EV we have now on IOG tariff) we were on regular Octopus Go. We charged our PHEV on the TOU tariff in addition to moving all our high energy use to night time (which used to be 9.5p per kwh12:30am-4:30am).Looks like 🐙 have closed the loophole which is only to be expected. And I don’t blame anyone for taking advantage of the situation if they could at the time. You can’t tell me that 🐙 didn’t know full well that people might do that. The checks they made when we applied to 🐙Go basically consisted of telling them the make/model of our PHEV and nothing more.Lancashire

From memory there was an Oct 24 (?) Tracker that was higher than Dec 23 and Dec 24 due to formulas. No great savings to be made though.
I wasn't aware of the Jan 25 14 month fix from "All our Tariffs". Must be very new. Worth following up.Telegraph Sam

The Dec 24 is better than the Oct 24 I believe. I checked a few of them out a while back.
I fixed at 5.74p and I think the gas fixes are now circa 6.6p/kWh.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)0 -
millie said:Yes but the formula for Tracker prices will increase with every price cap rise so Tracker prices will probably be higher than December 24 one.1
