What rate do they offer for export?Telegraph_Sam said:I see that the SO Energy So Tulip is now being promoted [by Uswitch] as the cheapest available fixed tariff. Usual problem re comparing fixed with variable tariffs incl Tracker.0 -
Pass. Might it be that not all providers do actually offer export tariffs? A good point to bear in mind, at the expense of making the whole exercise more complicated.Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know0 -
On the matter of export, did you manage to get Octopus to sort out your Outgoing Fixed?Telegraph_Sam said:Pass. Might it be that not all providers do actually offer export tariffs? A good point to bear in mind, at the expense of making the whole exercise more complicated.0 -
I believe I have. But the accounting system is deficient, as I have pointed out to them (there doesn't seem to be a look-up showing what has been exported and credited) and I have to run my own spreadsheet, which is a hassle.Telegraph Sam

Your online account (or the app) shows your export by day, month etc, up to the last smart meter data. It only gets credited when a bill is raised.Telegraph_Sam said:I believe I have. Had an email that been on Tracker for almost 12months and to let them know if want to stay on it otherwise it will default back to Flexible Octopus. If I elect to stay with Tracker will it be a more expensive version than now and would anyone care to offer any advice on what they would do, thanks0
