It doesn't look like we'll be getting any reprieve from the relatively high prices over the next few days. There's not much wind around for the foreseeable future, but at least things aren't quite as bad as late Nov last year yet. Thankfully it's been very mild, temperature-wise, so no need for any heating yet.I'm still making a small saving over Agile while I'm on Tracker Dec 23, but I've pretty much decided that unless the landscape changes considerably I'll be leaving Tracker in mid-Feb, potentially before if we get a repeat of the dip around the festive season.0

Why potentially before the dip? Are you thinking of moving to Agile?masonic said:It doesn't look like we'll be getting any reprieve from the relatively high prices over the next few days. Not potentially before the dip, potentially before mid-Feb if we get a dip around the festive season. Yes, to Agile.wakeupalarm said:

Moneyweek.com today published the results of a Citizens Advice survey of energy suppliers based on customer service April to June. Out of 15 suppliers Octopus came in at no 12, one place below Brit Gas and 3 below E.ON. >> Not something to shout about if the results can be believed. Top of the rankings was Ecotricity (Eco who?) followed by Utility WH and E (Gas and Electric). I suppose these are the kind of people we should be investigating before mid Feb.Telegraph Sam
There are also unknown unknowns - the one's we don't know we don't know1 -
I can believe it. It really depends on your priorities. If customer service is important, then there are probably better options. My priority is the lowest costs, and if I also get good customer service, that is just a bonus.Telegraph_Sam said:Moneyweek.com today published the results of a Citizens Advice survey of energy suppliers based on customer service April to June. Stacks up completely with my experiences of Octopus. It shouldn't be necessary to go to the Energy Ombudsman to get Octopus to pay up on exports.Telegraph_Sam said:Moneyweek.com today published the results of a Citizens Advice survey of energy suppliers based on customer service April to June. I know Octopus CS has suffered with the influx of SoLR customers and having to support prepayment which they clearly still struggle with.I suspect the CAB results might be slightly skewed and may not be completely representative of the general population. Really can't see how UW could come tops?????1

Looks like tomorrow's electricity UR will be the highest of the year so far? For me, on April 2024v1, 26.34p/kWh compared to SVT @ 24.96p/kWh.1

First time it’s breached the cap for me. Not remotely bothered though - it’s the temporary lack of wind. The gas price is of far more interest too, and that’s consistently showing a ‘discount’ still.SJMALBA said:Looks like tomorrow's electricity UR will be the highest of the year so far?
