Unlikley imo as they have, in the past, released that info at least 2 weeks earlier on the tracker faqs page.
But you never know.
I honestly think Octopus know they overdid it on the July formula so will just leave that as is.2 -

I’m on the Dec 23 Tracker.
Saw the comments above about switching to the 15 month fix - it does seem a better value fix than most, but still seems a bit pricier than the approx average in Tracker…? Are there strong reasons to consider fixing right now?Any advice welcome 🙏0 -

My thinking is to go along with Masonics views and resist for the moment calls to jump ship over to something fixed, not forgetting the service records of some of the alternatives. My gut feeling is that what drives Tracker prices (wholesale prices) is different from the (variable) retail prices that we are being encouraged to switch from. Is there a direct link?Telegraph Sam

Martin has been commenting on social media that wholesale prices dropped after the price cap was set, but customers won't get the benefit until January. Fixed prices will reflect the energy company's best guess as to what will happen to wholesale prices over the term. So I am quite glad that they are looking competitive, but I am not tempted to lock in to a 4p higher standing charge and 2-4p higher unit price based on recent trends. I will take my chances regarding WW3 breaking out.

Eastern formulae are slightly lower for October version than July. That's good to know, I was completely wrong
(and happy to be).

Is this a result of the underlying regional conversion formlae rather than differences in the (retail) prices?Telegraph Sam
