A little cheaper in my region, as mentioned earlier in the thread. It has been stated before that Tracker is now quite regional in terms of value for money.northernstar007 said:i see tracker has a new tariff out for oct24, both gas & electric went up a little

My online account is showing today's electricity UR as the same as yesterday's, despite a drop in the wholesale DA price (from yesterday, on Nordpool) such that today's UR should be 1.3p/kWh lower...? Anyone else?
Octoprice website (for example) shows the same thing i.e. same URs for both days.
Nordpool's wholesale DA for the 8th was 89.48, and 79.11 for the 9th...?1 -
There does seem to be something amiss. gastracker.uk usually shows the following days Electricity price around 11:00am but yesterday it didn’t update till late evening with the same figure as the previous day. Today it’s not showing tomorrows rate either so far.1

I am in the ScottishPower region and showing 21.51p for today and tomorrow. Yesterday was 21.83p here.2

Whether I'd have been able to fix for cheaper or whether I should now fix, I'm not sure. It's very much a gamble, I guess. Lock in for certainty or take the risk.I've decided to stay on tracker for gas. Looking at last year the price now is about the same as it was, it dropped of to around 4 pence kWh in December.Keeping my fingers crossed for similar this year, nothing ventured nothing gained.1 -
I'm inclined to base what I do on the med to longer term (and not the short term) figures in Compare and such like. For want of a crystal ball.Telegraph Sam

Yes. BL price from yesterdays auction for today was 79.11, this should have worked out to 21p today for me in NScot. The app is showing 22.31p though, same as previous day (89.48p BL price correctly converted to 22.31p)SJMALBA said:My online account is showing today's electricity UR as the same as yesterday's, despite a drop in the wholesale DA price (from yesterday, on Nordpool) such that today's UR should be 1.3p/kWh lower...? Todays auction result was 73.18 so tomorrow should be 20.26p, we shall see...2 -

For the east region electricity shows llwer on the new Oct tracker, just a smidge lower and so does gas.
I wonder if some of the cheaper tracker regions were bought more inline?0 -
Is anyone "Comparing" Tracker with the current alternatives or is this comparing apples with pears? Considering that said pears have a very short history. Difficult to know how to react.Telegraph Sam
