Prices look like they are going above standard variable for a few days?
Current SVR, 23.08p. Tomorrow's Tracker, 21.44p (Eastern region). Getting close, but no reason to panic just yet. But those on more recent versions of Tracker could well see a higher than SVR price.
On the latest tariff formula July 2024 it's over in the Eastern Region.

Has everyone got their plan for Feb 2025?

I will have to see what version of Tracker is available, but it's looking likely a change will be needed. Either Agile or a low standing charge tariff elsewhere.

Wait until December/January to start thinking about it, probably.

I've so far resisted Agile because I can't cope with it*, but having a year's worth of comparison by then at our normal usage pattern will demonstrate whether it's stayed cheaper and is fine as a fallback if the Tracker options then aren't much good.
I might also pay for a subscription to Octopus Compare to see about the Cosy and any other tariffs over the year when I'm weighing up the options, but I'm not holding out much hope.  The tariffs offered by Tomato Energy look good (alas the company doesn't) but Octopus seem to be more about dynamic tariffs rather than set times for TOU.

So, we come back to thinking about it nearer the time!

*It's not Agile, it's my brain and me knowing what I'm like vs my limitations - which have increased dramatically through a series of health nosedives.  But if I do get a year's worth of proof it's always been cheaper, I might be able to take the plunge.

Cosy could be a good shout with it's 8 hours of plunge so you know every day when you can plan big usage tasks.

Agile can be a bit of a weight on the mind, always looking for the cheapest time and kicking yourself when you miss it so completely understand how it could affect.

There could be other offers in the market by that time. It surely can't be long before all the major suppliers get their act together - there are a few tentative signs e.g. British Gas half price Sundays. I think this is due to end in a couple of weeks, but it would seem logical to assume that they've used this as a test and to identify any problems and they'll presumably replace it, perhaps with something more ambitious. I would expect others to follow.

Well exactly.  Worth keeping an eye out in the meantime but an informed decision can't be made without having all of the information.

That said, Octopus is still at the forefront of customer service even though the gap is narrowing; it would have to be something VERY enticing to get me to switch away (such as the Tomato tariffs - but without a dodgy company history) and there are a couple of suppliers I'm not sure *any*thing would convince me it's worth risking going with them.

Yes I'm the same. Friday's electricity has come through today, but no gas. It seems to be working out slowly.
I now have Saturday's data, so I imagine by the end of tomorrow I'll be all caught up.
    As predicted, all caught up.

My attitude is that I would not be unhappy if the terms that I was enjoying were not the very best all of the time. As long as these were amongst the front runners. Which is more than can be said for my Compare app at present. :'(

Just out of curiosity, is your export switch to Octopus running smoothly?

Careful what I say, it is early days yet. So far things appear to be running OK but the test will come when I reconcile the invoices. At first it was not easy to distinguish between readings from the two meters, practice ... The switch itself took ages.
