I only say this as tou tariffs appear to be the future so we all have to get used to a little load shifting for the better prices.0 -
If using he Compare defaults - yesterday, week, month and year - doesn't give me valid comparisons, then I'm going to have to enrole on a course in consumption shifting. I choose my consumption profile, Compare tells me the consequences. So far no complaints. At the end of the day it is a matter of getting a trade-off between lifestyle and cost savings.Telegraph Sam

My conclusion is that I could spend a lot of time and effort with the clever stuff catching up with you gurus when Compare is telling me that with my present consumption profile (which has its limits) I am doing not too badly at all. Gut feeling is that the law of diminishing returns could be applicable.
Reset all of the above when Tracker Feb 2025 makes its debutTelegraph Sam

£18 of octopoints in my account sitting there doing nothing
lots of credit in my acc (quarter of yearly bill) lowered my dd a little (60) over the summer, may increase it to about 70-80 in the winter if req
now do i cash in on these points or is it worth saving them up for anything, nothing on the store i require

I have always had variable D/D's. OK you lose some "control" but there is rarely a credit balance in the account which frees up lsd for other goodies.
I've never had more than a few octopoints so cash them in as soon as they are available (to spend on other goodies)Telegraph Sam

I've noticed that in the yearly view of my latest Compare there is a clear contradiction between the graphs and the colum totals for Agile and Tracker respectively.Telegraph Sam
