    can someone advise
my dd went through on time on 1-12-23, i put my readings in and still no bill has been made
my balance has been updated without my dd its saying pending, and also still calculating my savings on the 2 saving hrs
I just had that happen too - it took a week to show. I was told it's just a system thing when a DD and a reading coincide. Mine was all sorted automatically without any problem.

Formulas are different for each supply region.
  • I want to exchange thoughts on how Tracker "interfaces" with solar panels (but not solar batteries). I was trying to find if there was an active solar p forum to do this. Still looking ...

I have solar, no batteries, and I'm on Tracker.

You might have put "interfaces" into plain English for me though.

Not sure there's much to say.
Tracker is a flat rate tariff that just happens to change price every day. That price is weakly coupled to the amount of sunshine (weakly, because unlike wind power there is rarely enough solar to influence the wholesale price).
Having solar PV will reduce your energy consumption by the same amount whatever tariff you are on and is unlikely to change the average price of your imported Tracker electricity.

Tracker doesn't interface with your solar panels as far as I know. It doesn't care if you have them or not it's just a tariff.
  • Interface could have been better expressed. It's to do with how (how much) my solars make a net positive contribution towards my consumption as shown on my Tracker or any other ToU tariff invoice. I have yet to sus out how to measure this - which I suspect will be a topic for a parallel SV forum

  • ive just had my 1st bill in from octopus and looks  simple to understand inc each day price and usage
only thing, im comparing final bill from SP and the readings from octopus is on the electric ive giving octopus the wrong final reading for the electric compared to final bill off SP, its only 4kw out, shall i mention this to octopus, i dont like anything lurking in the background that can come and bite back down the line

I think I know what you're refering to. I'm struggling to evidence how much we're saving by having the solar, other than the bills are lower this year than last. It's now getting even more complicated as we have batteries which I'm charging to then export when the Saving Sessions are on, so that's increasing our import and export figures, whilst not being directly related to how much we're generating and exporting via solar.
