Does anyone know if this is normal or does it sound like something has gone awry? Thanks, Mike
Thanks - I think I may have an E7 profile but I'm not sure. I was on E7 before I switched from EDF and I can still see both the registers on the meter but only one of them increments so don't really know what that means. I'll probably just wait for a couple of days and email them if I haven't heard by then. What do you see in the app in your meter reading history? One register or two? If you have two, then you are still on a E7 meter profile and that would need to be changed before you could switch. If that's the case, Octopus should have asked your permission to request the change from your local distributor. It is then a waiting game as to when they make the necessary change (it took a little under a week for me). If you only have one register displayed in your reading history, then you are all set and there shouldn't be any reason for a delay.I'd second MFB's comment about reaching out on Twitter if needed. I requested a statement by email a week ago (should be a simple thing to action) and have yet to receive a response.
Thanks both - I've just checked and there are two readings although only one is going up. I'll try reaching out via Twitter although I've been living under a rock as far as social media is concerned so that's going to involve creating an account. I guess I had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century eventually....

It ought to be possible to calculate a value that represents the weighted average cost of my Tracker kWh's gas and leccy over the past 12 months. Would the Tracker csv download spreadsheets be the best data source for this, or would another source like mysmartenergy or gastracker make the exercise easier? I don't think Lipman covers Tracker at present.Telegraph Sam

I think that was the approach that I was contemplating. But using the raw data rather than the 12 monthly summariesTelegraph Sam

Using the monthly summaries from Octopus's bills will give the answer. Add up the cost on each bill, and the number of kWh. Divide total cost by total kWh, and add VAT.1

Yes I believe I can follow that. Somewhere I once heard that in such situations computing the sum of the monthly averages was incorrect. But I cannot remember the reasoning. Once I have a result I will put it into this forum iin case it sparks interest amongst other Trackers.Telegraph Sam

What you shouldn't (normally) do is average averages, bcause that will skew the results.0 -
Your last sentence is exactly what I was trying to describe !Telegraph Sam

Well these are nice rates for the start of December.
Just a thought are others factoring their average price per kWh with what they get paid for the saving sessions.
I am but then I do like a spreadsheet.3
