    If I'm reading the tea leaves correctly, there should be negligible change in pricing for tomorrow, maybe +0.1p at most.

    Barely any change for tomorrow's electricity - for me, from 20.92p/kWh today to 20.96p/kWh tomorrow.

    Hi - I started a switch from Agile to Tracker online on Thursday and got a message to the effect they'd let me know when it was done, but there's no sign in my account either on the app or on the web of anything happening or even of having made the request. Does anyone know if this is normal or does it sound like something has gone awry? Thanks, Mike
  • Wednesday to be the expensive day this week then falling prices from Thursday and a cheap weekend for the finger in the air prediction.

    It's normally pretty fast, unless you have a E7 profile and that needs to be changed to single rate. When people joined en-mass after the wait list was axed it took a few days. I had to wait for a meter profile change and after that I was able to accept T&C and see it on my account within 24 hours.

I was on E7 before I switched from EDF and I can still see both the registers on the meter but only one of them increments so don't really know what that means. I'll probably just wait for a couple of days and email them if I haven't heard by then.

    Twitter I have found gets things done quicker.

    What do you see in the app in your meter reading history? One register or two? If you have two, then you are still on a E7 meter profile and that would need to be changed before you could switch. If that's the case, Octopus should have asked your permission to request the change from your local distributor. It is then a waiting game as to when they make the necessary change (it took a little under a week for me). If you only have one register displayed in your reading history, then you are all set and there shouldn't be any reason for a delay.
    I'd second MFB's comment about reaching out on Twitter if needed. I requested a statement by email a week ago (should be a simple thing to action) and have yet to receive a response.
