  • I will be jumping for joy if they let me continue my V3, although I’d be happy with any tracker. 
    Just had an email offering me the opportunity to remain on my V2 Tracker for another year by doing nothing.  
    Do you have smart meters? I don’t, so I hope it doesn’t stop me from continuing my tracker.

    That’s a big assumption. I am waiting to see what happens next month!  Renewals for Go (and the now defunct Go Faster) were always based on the tariff version in play at the time for most customers. Mistakes were made with renewals.
    How can something that has been known to have been done/happened year on year and confirmed as having been done/happened this year be regarded an an assumption let alone a big  assumption.

    The year was 2021 same year typo mistake, same do nothing get 12 months tariff extension .....


    If you view your tariff options, does it show tracker as an option? what URL does it go to? (remove the A-xxxxx account number if you don't mind sharing it!)

    Email you referring to tariff options just shows flexible tariff.

    12 month tariff extension relates to not choosing anything, do nothing option.

    Though I do have a smart for electricity( I’m on Go Faster), for Gas on V2 tracker I don’t.

    Yeh okay, so that's the standard requote endpoint... I was kinda hoping this might have been a way to sneak on to Tracker without the 6 month wait 😅

    Good question, I'd like to know too - if it's mandatory to be able to renew, need to get one installed before our Tracker ends in August.
  • My email for Gas Tracker says “If you’d like to stick with Octopus Tracker for a further 12 months, you don’t need to do anything”.   Electricity Tracker may be different.

    My friend who applied to Octopus two weeks ago to change from Flexible Octopus to Octopus Tracker got switched over to the gas tracker ok ijn a couple of days  but was told there would be up to 6 months to move onto the electric tracker ..up to six months ! looks like HotdealsUK has flooded Octopus .
