Gosh, yes. Mine's 15.4 I just turned the heating off!
The live prices yesterday And today have no massive spikes that would account for this. Here's one place to watch if you don't have it already.

Plus tracker electric prices are still as low as yesterday so this is an error with Octopus energy...

Bit surprised they don't have people monitoring their systems 24/7 to fix such issues though.

Anyone else found today's gas tracker prices?

Looks like over 15.3p Despite no massive changes in NatGas values or prices elsewhere which show where the actual price should be.
Gosh, yes. Mine's 15.4 I just turned the heating off!
What could be the reason? I thought the rate followed the UK natural gas prices?

However dashboard has these prices listed below.

No gas rate is shown at least on my online dashboard or on all tariff list for tracker gas, how can error be down to Octopus energy being as they get data from third party?

Third party site that usually shows gas rate after 6pm the day before is showing no data for today.
I had same issue so had to go to old dashboard to see prices which differ from the 15p price. Don't know which one is correct
  • Check here and see it's an error on Only the latest November 22 v1 tariff lol.

All the other versions on the gas tracker tariff have the correct prices.. 5.88p I think which I'd say looks correct based on the Actual UK wholesale cost today.

Question is will Octopus fix it?

Thought I'd come on here to check, after seeing the 15p+.
My app is showing 5.91p, but I didn't know if that was yesterday's figure, or today's*, but it sounds similar to Alnat1's, so I'll assume it's today's.
*can't remember what time the app updated by previously.

Okay my account says 6.11. I was looking at that other website. Lesson learnt.

ETA: that website mysmartenergy.uk has been corrected too.

The 3rd party that provides the prices was a bit late delivering them, that is all...
This is a beta tariff, sometimes things will get delayed a little and you'll see funky pricing when that happens...

Exactly, this is something people need to remember, and not get all whingey if things are a little glitchy on occasion.

It's better than our beloved Govt., whose (third-party but uk.gov branded) Dartford Crossing payments page remains "alpha", seven years after free-flow (sic) charging started, and after a change of contractor too!

It is superb that Octopus have rewarded people taking the chance on their beta products with these extensions.

Another big tick int he OctoBox
That’s a big assumption. I am waiting to see what happens next month!  Renewals for Go (and the now defunct Go Faster) were always based on the tariff version in play at the time for most customers. Mistakes were made with renewals.
How can something that has been known to have been done/happened year on year and confirmed as having been done/happened this year be regarded an an assumption let alone a big  assumption.

The year was 2021 same year typo mistake, same do nothing get 12 months tariff extension .....

I have never been so  :) to see new tariff rates.  :p
