My other thought is when did you last have your thyroid function checked?

I agree with Beanie. Do you actually need to lose weight? Your BMR that you posted the other day of like 1500 calories is really low considering they say the average woman needs 2000 calories to maintain weight.
Maybe focussing on exercise including maybe some weights might help sculpt your body shape a bit more and make you feel more comfortable with it?"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney2 -
I just came to say the same as jwil. aerobic exercise (running) just made me hungry. I've read that if you want to lose weight you need to do resistance training (weights). Maybe carry a cat or two round the house for a bit. Our cat weighs 7lbs so she's cheaper than buying weights.2

Thanks everyone. I am overweight. 11 stone 11 and 5ft 5. I do weight heavy so am a happy size 12 when I’m between 10 st 7 and 10 st 10. At the moment it’s hit and miss whether I’m a 12 or a size 14 depending on the shop. The TDEE calculator tells me at sedentary I only need 1570 to stay the same…and I’m pretty sedentary Monday to Friday with my long desk hours. I have been trying to increase my salad and veg intake and reduce the chocolate and biscuits in the hope that will help. Today I got a record 13,000 steps and had a real stomp around the beach and up some hills. Then I made a shepherds pie, light on the mince and high on veg and had a big bowl full of that 😋
Unfortunately with me being out and about a bit I thought MrWW have let dog out in the afternoon, he thought I had and dog had a senior moment and forgot to tell anybody she needed to go. By the time we realised at tea time and directed her to the back door she had a massive wee walking through the kitchen and utility. It was like a hose pipe. Poor dog. She’s had lots of cuddles and I’ve told her it’s naughty mummy not naughty dog 😢 I’ll have to be really aware that she might forget to ask to go out now, poor old baby. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I had 8 cats at my worst...
and yes it gets very expensive.
i hate to suggest it as it is expensive but have you looked at the 'Zoe' stuff? My friend did it when it first came out, did all the tests etc and now knows exactly what she should eat and is able to better manage her weight. I just would ignore the results and still eat the things I know are a problem so it isn't for me.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese2 -
