Good morning and happy Thursday ☀️🌷
The half portion of fish and chips weren’t as nice as anticipated. The chips were hard and although the fish was huge and white and fluffy it didn’t hit quite right, like it had a charred cardboard flavour despite the batter looking perfect. MrWW and dog had no complaints on the fish, but agreed the chips weren’t good this time. I’m wondering if a month off anything deep fried has altered my tastebuds 😅 So dog ended up with 3 quarters of the fish and I didn’t have many chips…..I still went up 0.4 of a pound today, but on the scale tracker it says my muscle has increased and the fat reading decreased so it’s not all bad!
I won £100 on the premium bonds, so that’s brilliant. They are set to reinvest. I had a 4 month run last year and then this year a 4 month dry spell, so I’m really glad to finally get a win this year.
Work has been spookily quiet for a few days, so I’m hoping nothing nasty drops before I’m on leave so I can sort out all of the niggely bits I don’t normally have time for.
I hope you all have a fabulous Thursday 🌷⭐️☀️

What a shame about the fish and chips when you were looking forward to them. I can’t eat anything deep fried at all it makes me feel sick. Well done on the PB win 👏

Lol at you being too healthy now to enjoy deep fried fish

Fab PB win, are you auto-reinvesting it?

Sadly chocolate and crisps are still tasting delicious!
I do auto reinvest. It goes straight into the next draw which is good. I try not to think of it as real money, but I will add it into my May savings total 😬

Good morning and happy Friday ☀️✨🌷
My weight went back up again this morning, despite not going off track. I.will.not.give.in! 😅 I’ll get lots more steps in this weekend.
I ended up spending quite a bit yesterday on pet treats…I thought we were set for the month after my last massive order a  few weeks ago, but apparently not 😖 No matter how much I budget for them, they always spend more…worse than kids! Dog is so old and not bothered now she won’t come in without a high value bribe…and that’s necessary when I have a call to dial into and she’s ignoring me 😣 This is the downside of a dog built like a tank!
I hope you all have a great day ✨

I've got a lot of weight to lose (60lb) and have been 'looking into' things I knew from long ago, but which I let fall by the wayside.
One of them is that not all calories are equal!  Good calories work with the body, contributing to good health (and not being stored}  and bad calories work against the body, so it isn't only cutting the calories that contribute to weight loss .  Apparently the old saying 'we are what we eat' has some truth in it.
It's a bit of a bummer, but maybe worth looking into?
It's also true that under eating makes your body think there's a famine - our bodies haven't evolved much since caveman days and will store as much as it can to help us survive!
    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy
