And the stupid phone calls and emails about work you wouldn't need to do if people just got on with things?

The Zumba ones are fun, but it’s hard to find the time and enthusiasm 😬 Sadly I have to work between meetings 😢 That’s when you squeeze in the actual work you need to do, that you struggle to do because of all the meetings about the work you need to do 😅

Good morning, happy Friday woohoo 🎉
I’m sorry you share the work frustrations. I saw @jwils list too and guess we are all suffering the same issues in different jobs with different employer’s. It never ends!I’m never sure why Friday hits different as it’s still a working day. Maybe it’s just that anything hideous can be saved until Monday? 😬
i have the last of my pre prepared salads ready for lunch today. Doing 5 worked well. I was ravenous yesterday…ravenous I tell you! I could have chewed off my own arm, but managed to stick to the calories, which makes it super annoying that I am still the same weight as Wednesday 😖 What is going on? I even got over 5k in steps, which is pretty good for a desk day.My pay slip was on line yesterday and I benefited from the NI decrease and a 4% yearly pay rise, so that’s nice. Not earth shattering, but it was part of a 2 year deal so hopefully next years negotiations are stronger (but I doubt it). The extra will probably be sucked up next month along with everything else as I have a big annual bill, a big birthday (the £500) and a holiday visit from the family. But in June I have plans to feed the increase into my pots (as I should have been prepared for that annual bill). It looks like it was raining all night as the garden is a swamp again, and it’s pretty grim and drizzly now.
i hope you all have a fabulous Friday ⭐️🌷☀️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Friday! The prospect of days off always makes the day feel better.

Thanks @beanielou, you too ⭐️
Thanks @jwil, the prospect of days off is sometimes even better than the actual days off 😁
MrWW came home with a migraine in the middle of the night. My guard dog slept through, but her sniffer woke her up when the cats were demanding Dreamies, so she had a snack while I made a cup of tea. Then I was reading for hours as I was wide awake. The scales have not budged again. So a grand total of half a pound loss over 2 weeks. I have been tracking and sticking to calories religiously and doing more exercise. My calorie deficit is usually 5 or 600 cals per day…which should easily be a pound loss in a week. I have no clue! My stomach roll is hanging in there…it loves me 😬 I will keep plodding…something has to give eventually…I seem to be evading the laws of science. It’s like when I used to watch secret eaters and they said they couldn’t understand why they weren’t losing and then a secret camera filmed them in McDonald’s instead of the gym….but I’m not cheating 🤣😅
The plan for today is to see if my car is behaving and if it is I will call at L*dl to look for new plants for the hanging baskets. The narcissus daffodil bulbs need taking out now and replanting in the garden. Then we have a T*sco delivery due this afternoon and I will make up my salad bowls. Then I will go for a big walk to get the steps in.
i hope you all have a brilliant day ☀️🌷Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

My other thought is when did you last have your thyroid function checked?

I agree with Beanie. Do you actually need to lose weight? Your BMR that you posted the other day of like 1500 calories is really low considering they say the average woman needs 2000 calories to maintain weight.
Maybe focussing on exercise including maybe some weights might help sculpt your body shape a bit more and make you feel more comfortable with it?"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney2 -
I just came to say the same as jwil. aerobic exercise (running) just made me hungry. I've read that if you want to lose weight you need to do resistance training (weights). Maybe carry a cat or two round the house for a bit. Our cat weighs 7lbs so she's cheaper than buying weights.2
