Good morning and happy Friday ☀️🌷
Evri delivered dogs snacks, so she was quite happy with the late night delivery, but is now on a mission to eat a months worth of snacks in a day 🤭
Tonight will be my last night without supervision, but I still plan to fill my weekend again. Last weekend hit much better when I did my big walks and forced myself out a bit, so I’ll make sure I do that again.
I haven’t been great with steps during the week, averaging about 4k a day, but with so much time at my desk it is hard to get them in without a massive effort…which clearly I did not make! I’ll try harder next week.
My nails are still holding up, not a single chip and they will have been on 1 week tomorrow. This is unheard of in WW land. I was even pulling up weeds with my bare hands yesterday while dog was having a sit down outside and they have held up to all my heavy handedness and clumsiness. I am impressed. Maybe they’ll last the 3 weeks advertised? I’m a little bored of the colour as I’m not used to keeping it the same for so long, but I’m going to hold out as I think the removal process will be a pain and probably best not done too often.I hope you are all having a nice Friday 🌷Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I take these aren’t the sist@co (?) nails? A week is very good for nails you’ve done yourself. My BIAB gel colour lasted 4 weeks but I had it done at a salon. I must admit I get bored of the same colour after a while.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

When I’ve occasionally chipped a gel nail between appointments I’ve painted normal colour on the top of that nail only and it’s lasted till I get to the salon so you could just paint normal varnish on top of you want a change of colourSealed pot challenge 822

@Sun_Addict, no, I just couldn’t get sist@co to stick for more than a few hours without chipping. I’m not very dainty though 😬 This is s@ssysaints and they are so strong and are still as good as the day I did them. It’s the first at home nail treatment I’ve done that looks just as good as a salon…not that I’ve been to a salon for 15 years 🤭
Thats interesting dawny. If they are still solid next week I could maybe file the top layer down and try dipping a new colour. Something to think about. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I had a look at the nail kits, very tempting! But even with 40% off and a couple of coupons, I can't get myself to pay that much, even though Iam trying to justify the cost 😆. I'll leave the basket for now and see how I feel later 🤭01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Thanks, that's a great idea, I'll do that. I wouldn't save money as I haven't done my nails in ages, but I would like to have nice nails for weeks without much effort.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

It took me 15 panicky goes to get my car started this morning so I ended up having a 70 mile round trip to the bigger town to charge it up. Honestly, the roads are so bad it’s like off roading in parts and there are holes a good 10 inches deep in places. Even on a clear stretch you can’t risk going to the speed limit, about 50 is the most I can do while spotting up coming hazards and the majority on the road were the same. Just two boy racers in tiny cars whizzed past everyone else…I presume they haven’t yet had a pot hole bite their wallets. They’ll learn 🤭 I love going fast, but not with the state of the roads at the moment 😖
i am just making lunch (crimpits) and then plan to get some steps in.
i hope you all have a great day ⭐️

The roads are dire. Potholes everywhere. So maddening that they’ve been allowed to get into this state. Very dangerous….😡
The nail gel sound a good buy. I’m no good at doing my right hand so the rare occasion I do them I just used an old fashioned nail polish that is a 1 hit wonder or like when I went to the wedding in March had them done at a salon. They lasted a couple of weeks but I hate them when they start growing out and you get the gap near your nail bed. Then I hate taking them off. Don’t think I’ll bother with anything for a while now it’s gardening season.January spends - £587.582 -
Happy Monday ✨🌷
Milann this is a powder dip, which makes it much easier, but I’m waiting to see how the removal goes. I wasn’t impressed with the last kit, so I’m hoping this one is as easy as it claims to be 😁
i didn’t quite get to 10k steps, but managed over 9000 on both Saturday and Sunday, which wasn’t too bad. Today will be tricky as I’ve barely cleared 1000 so far!I made up 5 days worth of salads in my glass containers yesterday. Todays I had with 2 baby bel lights and a wafer biscuit to finish. I have tried putting in a meal plan for the next 3 days. Maybe following it will help me stay on track. A calorie deficit isn’t moving the scales (or so slowly it’s impossible to track), so I need to make a bigger deficit to make something happen! Tonight’s tea will be spaghetti bolognaise. Often it’s the cooking after work that puts me off, but it’s in the nutracheck diary so I have to follow through 😬
