Ours is a Lab @redofromstart. She was my first dog so I don’t have anything to compare her to. She has always been 100% trustworthy with the cats even when she was young and giddy. 15.5 is an incredible age. I had no idea chickens could faint 😮

Our previous dog was a Patterdale/Jack Russell cross, and we lost him a few years ago at 11.  Our current dog is a Border Terrier and she's 12.  They are both lovely gentle, good tempered dogs.

Well done on the steps!  I find my only solution is to exercise first thing, as once I get distracted by work or other stuff, I do nothing.

Hope the house clean went well.

I can’t quite believe how fast the week is going! Not being at work puts the days into hyperdrive. The washing machine sprung a leak and MrWW had everything pulled out and thought it was the washer. He ordered one and replaced it, but that didn’t work and it turned out to be the hose, so we went to the big town and managed to get one. Much cheaper than a new washing machine , so that was excellent. Although we stocked up on food from the freezer place, called at big MrT for some new jeans for MrWW and socks for me and then got a puncture in MrWW’s car, which can’t be fixed until tomorrow, so overall a very spendy day!
Tomorrow the family get here for 4 days of tourist things and meals out. I made sure I got my 10k of steps in (on the walking pad as it was raining hard) as I might not get time for a few days. The walking pad was hard work, it feels like it hits a different muscle group than outside walking!
I finished the day off strong with a MrT choc chip muffin!
I hope you are all having a good week ⭐️☀️

That's great you were able to fix the washing machine, shame about the puncture but that seems to be cars for yer.
You need to eat and protect your feet and wear trousers (Mr WW going to prison for an unfortunate exposure is taking money saving too far even if it would save on food and energy bills 😁) so those spends are not unreasonable!

Blimmin well done on getting 10k steps in and making the effort to do it indoors when it would have been easy to sack it off due to weather, proud of you my indoor walks compadre 🥂

Have a very lovely time with the family 😊
