What great pics, I am most envious. Love the compulsory paddle 😊
Ouch to the bill but it's not all the time and nice to be able to treat loved ones. Hope your mum and all of you have an enjoyable evening

£85 for 5 isn’t bad. It’s not a usual spend and a lovely family treat. Did your mum make it to a beach or was it too much for her. The weight will come off again. You have to live and enjoy time with family. There are another 51 weeks if the year to watch what you eat 👍 is it a long journey for her to visit you? Funny how folk suddenly age…..this has happened to my brother who has never had good health but suddenly at 77 has really aged physically and mentally too.

@milann it’s over 500 miles, so a long journey even as a passenger. She was much happier today as we went to wave them off. I think her bad days unfortunately just fell at the wrong time as she was thinking maybe she will have another visit in her after all 🤭 She made it through the meal last night and it was so nice to all be together.
We called to get the weekly shop on the way back home and I have prepped the salad bowls for the rest of the work week lunches. I can’t remember who mentioned protein shakes, but I got a few to try as I never, ever meet the protein target on my nutracheck count, so thought they might be good for the odd work breakfast. I went up a bit more weight today, nearly 3 pounds in 4 days, which makes no sense as I wasn’t massively over eating. Hopefully it will drop back off quickly this week. I have ended today just under my calories and I had a beach walk to get me over the 10k steps. I’ve hit my steps every day for all the time I was off, but I’m not sure how I’ll squeeze them in with an 8 hr desk day. I’ll see how I manage tomorrow.
I’m not looking forward to being a worker again 😖 a whole week and a day off has been bliss.

Good morning and happy work Tuesday (sob) ☀️🌷
i am up early to get the jobs done and hopefully get a few steps in before hitting my desk at 8am 😖…I just need the motivation to actually get up 🤭
I’m sure the thought of work is worse than the actual work and I’ll be fine once I’m back on the treadmill. It’s always hard after having a glimpse of freedom.
i hope you all have a fabulous day ☀️🌷
