The late MrC also had lots of equipment for each hobby. Jodhpurs for riding, fencing sword, mask and appropriate clothing, air rifle and pellets, martial arts outfit, old computers, all of his university work, bank statements for a bank account that he hadn't had for years, empty envelopes...that should give you an idea of the scale of the problem. There was also a five foot long toy crocodile that was coming apart at the seams. That went to the tip as soon as it seemed decent 🤣

Oh @Suffolksue the golf clubs made me laugh. 

Mr redo buys tools but to be fair he does use them to make the house lovely, and will  use them on the next house too. I rolled my eyes when it started but now I see why we buy things.

Good morning and happy Saturday 🥶☕️
Yesterday the power cut off at 3.30 and didn’t come back until 6.30. I had to log back on to work at 8pm to finish what I was doing 😖 We went to collect my car and it was just short of £600. They also kindly found something else wrong that I’ll need to get done before the mot in summer 😖 We debated a take away, but MrWW decided we’d wait for the power as he didn’t want to spend extra, which was strange as I pay for my car and I offered to pay for the take away, so he wouldn’t have spent anything at all. The weather thought it would be fun to produce a snow storm for on the way back, so that wasn’t nice. The power was still out and MrWW threw a (fairly rare) paddy. He couldn’t find his battery lights (which turned out to be in the drawer he’d looked in). They’d been in the drawer for ages, but he decided it was my fault for cleaning because he was sure he’d left them out. Then he needed to eat straight away and has a rant about the power, so we had to get the camping stove out. I had nearly finished frying burgers on the single ring when the power came back, so I could also put chips in the airfryer and toast his burger buns. The squeezy mustard squirted water down his fingers and then the burgers gave him indigestion so he wished he’d not had them. I mentioned we could have had a takeaway or waited for the power to come on 😬 I’m hoping for a better day today as I wasn’t winning yesterday! 

For yesterdays 10 things I found some more mugs, the faded and chipped went to the bin and the fine ones went to the charity bag. Then a glass teapot for tea flowers that was only used once about 5 years ago.
it still looks fairly snowy out, but the roads seem clear and I still have my 10lb badge. It will be a struggle to keep it while I’m away from the work routine.

We had lunch out today, which was very nice. The snow is still quite thick, but the roads were clear.
We watched a film tonight and I forgot to declutter my eleven things, so I’ll need to double down and find 23 things tomorrow. 

I don’t know if you remember me harping on about the L*dl frozen cream buns ages ago. They are the Spanish range (something Sol in the orange boxes) called something creme Catalan I think. That’s very vague, but they had some and I ate one so I’m very happy 😁 kind of a lemony, creamy choux bun 😋

Happy Sunday everyone ☕️😁
This morning my smallest cat was having his usual snuggle under my chin in bed (drives me mad as I can’t see my iPad or book without lifting it high, but he will not take no for an answer) and one of the others decided to pounce on a third. The resulting kerfuffle frighted the smallest who spring boarded off my throat and away to safety….even though they were feet away from him further down the bed. So anyway, now I look like I met Freddy Krueger in my dreams last night…cheers cat! If he was a bit bigger I might have been more like nearly headless Nick. It’s not pretty 😖
I tackled one drawer in the entrance porch today…we are supposed to keep scarves and gloves in the drawers and one cat has his bed box and blankets on top of them. The bottom drawer held lots of ancient post from 2015, along with some rolls of sticky back plastic that I have no idea what we bought them for. Lots of sorting, shredding and binning later I can safely say I have surpassed my 23 items target by a million 😅
I am making a chicken roast dinner now and the fire is lit. Fizz is chilling in the fridge.
