I also like clutterfreecarli and a few more. It does seem Americans have the monopoly on clutterfree living. I like A to Zen life on YouTube too…her house is bare 😮Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good afternoon and happy Monday ☕️
I'm so hungry today…I think the diet is finally kicking in. The first couple of months was just the challenge of eating less, but I think my fat layers are now fighting back 😖
It has been snowing on and off this morning…I am armed with my oodie and a hot water bottle at my desk.
Just work today and no other plans and no idea what to make for tea.
I hope you all have a good day.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

The lamb and preserved lemons was delicious. It in Jamie’s 5 ingredients book. I don’t like spicy so this is nice and aromatic 😁 we’ve got it again for tea tonight.Ds and Dh added spice to their couscous and roast veg. I couldn’t get the usual peppers, courgettes etc so added a bag of frozen Mediterranean veg which worked out fine. I bought a leg of lamb before Christmas which was £14. I worked out it cost £2 per meal including the other ingredients. Not the cheapest but it went a long way as I got 10 meals with it. Hopefully lamb will be on offer again soon for Easter 🤞It was SlimmingWorld friendly too 😁
We’ll done with the decluttering 👍January spends - £587.581 -
It sounds lovely. I can just imagine MrWW’s face if I presented lamb with couscous instead of Sunday dinner trimmings 😅 That’s a good point about the Easter lamb offers.
For day 6 I decluttered 3 boxes of half used (out of date) mug cake mixes, some gift bags, an empty box and an old padded envelope. So a bit more than 6 items just by opening a few cupboards in a rush. Tomorrow is 7 items. I can’t believe how easy it is to find bits that should have been thrown out ages ago, or never given cupboard space in the first place. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Snowy today and I’m getting antsy about my car repair. I hope it’s not too snowy for the breakdown to get it to the garage or too snowy for me to get it back on Friday. I normally love snow, but two weeks is too long as it is 😕
Just work today, so nothing thrilling. And the heating is on so I hope the oil lasts until next month as I have enough over and above expenses this month. See, I’m in a whingey mood today 🤣 I know I can afford both, but I’m getting mighty mean with my savings 😅
The naughty boy cat came today for several breakfasts. We don’t see him for a week and then he rocks up in a snowstorm 😁 He clearly likes an adventure.
I hope you all have a happy Tuesday ☕️🌟🥶Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Fingers crossed for the repair. I only like snow if I don't have to leave the house while it's snowy. I will be tidying my baking cupboard on Saturday and the "plastic tub" cupboard the Saturday after. That should take care of a month's worth of clutter... The last time that I cleared the baking cupboard the cake tins that I don't need any more all went to Looked After person's mum who owns a cafe.
The HT used to have 3 breakfasts when he was younger. Your spare cat is obviously the cat equivalent of a small person that gets up super early to fit as many meals in as possible.3 -
Hope the white stuff does interfere with the car’s return 🤞
There was much debate about roasties versus cous cous here too….we decided on roasties and mint sauce at Easter 😁👍😂January spends - £587.582 -
Good morning and happy Wednesday ☕️🥶
There is lots of the white stuff and more fell overnight. I am hoping for a melt, but it’s icy cold 😖
@CRANKY40 the spare cat is in his teenage years, so that explains it. He was not hanging around this morning so I hope he went home for the night.
Yesterday I opened a drawer in the dining room to declutter my 7 things…shamefully there was junk mail and old bills from 11 years ago 😮. How did that happen? Also an old cutlery insert and some ancient door knobs. This challenge is quite revealing 😅
Ziffit paid for the second lot of books today. They rejected 2 this time, but I’m ok with that. It’s still £44 for me and less clutter 😁
