I once had a spree and threw things out of drawers he had crammed with ‘stuff’ All his early home computers - which may (or may not) be worth a fortune now….according to dh 😂😂😂😂😂😂
My mum is well known for throwing everything… if we ever had heirlooms they’ll be long gone! I’m surprised we didn’t end up in a charity bag when we were kids, we probably only escaped it by not sitting still for long enough 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I gave a lot of stuff away when I was widowed. A whole rooms worth of tools and "stuff". People were saying that I should have sold things but I didn't know the names of most of it. Once that lot was gone I sent one of my friends up into the loft and just like that the empty room was full again. When we moved here I said that nothing was ever going in the loft and I've kept to that. If we want something we find a space for it, if we don't want whatever it is then it goes on the selling pile or in the charity shop bag. There's still a lot of junk treasure that the minor hoarder (the HT) won't part with if it stays in his room I'm ok with that.3

I’ve got a garage nearly full of golf clubs
all bought as that was definitely the one that would turn him intoTiger Woods 🤣🤣🤣4 -
Happy Friday everyone 🌟☕️🥶
What is it with all these men hobbies? Mine has been through so many and needs so much kit for every single one. Luckily not golf yet…and I won’t mention it 😅 He also needs the right outfit for every one, even if it’s not what you’d expect. Golf would probably generate a search for plus fours and the perfect pair of socks, then he’d be researching golf buggies 🤭
I need to announce 10lbs today 😮 A surprise drop this morning! ‘Just’ one and a half stone to go now 😨
I don’t know if my car will be ready today, but it’s snowing and I’m already stressing about driving it back. I love my car, but it’s a fair weather friend. One snow flake and it’s snaking down the road like it’s been stolen for an extra in fast and furious 25 (or whatever number they are up to now).Just work today, but I have next week off 😁
I hope you all have a good day ☕️☕️☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well done on 10 lb - don’t they reckon that’s a dress size 👏👏👏👏
I'm back to where I was before my York trip - I want 1/2 lb next week to get my 1/2 stone award.
Dont even get me going on men and hobbies….we have a crate of radio amateur gear that is probably obsolete and doesn’t work, dive gear that he spent 1000’s on - most of that did go to the charity shop - except an empty oxygen cylinder 🤷🏻♀️….we currently have a couple of bikes that have done very few miles that have been replaced by an electric bike…..currently coming in at just less than £1000 a ride 😱😱😱. And not even going along the garden rail paraphernalia we have. I’ve lost count of the ukuleles he has….last time I looked you can only play one at a time 😂😂😂and a guitar he can’t play 😂😂😂 Got to admit though I’ve never discouraged him but I know if needed he would sell it all. He’s worked hard all his life for a few perks - he could have spent equivalent down the pub and had nothing to show for it. I’ve had my moments with craft stuff 😉 but pretty sure not on the same scale 😏January spends - £587.584 -
This has just reminded me that I have my late Dad's golf clubs cluttering up my utility. None of my family want me to give them away, but I notice none of them want them cluttering up their house either! Absolutely none of us play golf so they are purely mementos.Live the good life where you have been planted.
