Thanks everyone. My rear springs were about £500, so I hope the front will be about the same. I’m not car savvy enough to know if the front ones will be dearer because of the engine weight or not, but I will definitely insist on them both doing, to save it happening again in a month or 2. They have clearly all got to their age limits even though my car is incredibly low mileage for its age. Anyhow, that’s a problem for next week. I’m having an enforced weekend at home now 😕 I consoled myself with a white cream egg!

Good morning and happy Sunday ☕️  🥶 It’s very frosty here. The little black cat was demanding breakfast the minute he saw movement. He’s tiny, but very solid. I hope he’s not on a diet at home as he had 4 breakfasts before he wandered off. He’s not a hunter as all the wild pheasants eat the seed in front of him.
I really stress about my car when it’s broken so it’s on my mind a lot, even though I can’t do anything about it until Monday. I like the freedom of having it there and I hate having expenses I can’t budget for to the last penny. This is silly as I can afford it, even if it’s four times what the last repair was, it would just mean going backwards on my savings. It’s not the end of the world, but it puts me in a flap. 

I’m up to another £49 on the great book clear out, but won’t arrange a collection until they tell me they are processing the last lot. It was picked up on Monday, but they haven’t updated it on the system yet, which is a bit worrying. 

I went down a few points more, so still have my 8lb badge. I hope it doesn’t take 2 weeks for the next one!

Well done on the 8lb!  Sorry to hear about the car though.

Last time I sent off books I was stressing as the tracking wasn't updating.  A few days later I got simultaneous emails saying they'd received them, were checking them and paying out.  You'll probably get the same.

just work today and the garage can’t fit my car in for nearly 2 weeks!! 😢 This will make it very hard to budget for March.
