Hi all
Hope DD is ok apple, sounds scary.
I'm on NSD x 9 now. Had a lovely mothers day, saw both DDs and had some thoughtful gifts. Have had a relaxing day with no studying done and no work. Feels very indulgent !
Gratitudes - seeing both DDs; nice chat with stepmum; home made scones

NSD No 11
First day back at school for the wee one. She was so excited about seeing her teacher and friends. Hope it all works out this time.
Some more plants that I ordered a while ago were delivered. Confiers and heathers. They look very healthy so I'm hopeful. Letting them settle down and I'll plant them all up tomorrow.
Gaps appearing in the freezer. Just have to keep Himself under control.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
Evening all,
Not been my best day at work today, ended up crying to myself, luckily I was WFH so nobody saw! Just one of those things where because you don't complain you get given more work and it just got to a point where enough was enough.
Anyway, all dealt with now. NSD number 10 which is good! My credit card statement hasn't come through, should come through tomorrow so I can get that paid. Got some new kitchen cabinets today so have started the annoying process of drilling new holes for hinges so I can fit them. Always have good ideas and the execution leaves much to be desired haha.
I applied for private health insurance over the weekend and got it all approved today. A massive indulgence but for various reasons I feel it's right for me. I have cancelled some other stuff that I don't need and will be cancelling my health cash plan too, this will cover the cost.
Grateful for chocolate, pilates this morning, and a funny colleague.4 -
Feeling tired today so a quick check-in from me.
NSD 8/17.
Grateful for DS going into nursery without tears, a walk, and porridge.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸3 -
Monday- still on NSD 10. Not been in a shop, but I ordered some music books for DD. I suspect more advanced than she will manage to play, but tunes she wants to learn. So I'm hoping it gives her a bit of an incentive to practice the (in her words) boring bits! It's not massive amounts of money so no real harm if it's totally not suitable.
Ridiculously busy at work, managed a very quick walk with the dog at lunchtime. Since I got home I've been very lazy and done nothing apart from make dinner.
Grateful today for school being back properly today, meal plan for tonight being quick and easy, a lunchtime walk in the sun.4 -
Today I am grateful for my alarm clock doing its job, for the car being fine to drive (it was reversed into whilst stationary yesterday, sigh), for the other person admitting they were wrong and for their insurance people just getting on and doing a good job, for a lovely day of teaching, for laughter with the pupils, for dd having fewer pain episodes.Thank you for all the concern about her. It will be a slow mend, but at least there will be a mend.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

So have taken the morning off from school cover work, and will do a bit of organising at home instead. Grateful for cheerful youngsters, getting on with stuff, for sunflowers sprouting, for add for writing workshops, I can't decide if I should join a writing/reading group or do a paid for course or get an editing/coach/mentor, and grateful for this damp morning in a quiet house, without having to go anywhere for hours.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
