NSD No 14
Gas check done and all is fine. Took all of 15 minutes. A very nice, cheerful workman. I'll be glad when we can let some non essential repairs done. On the plus side the kitchen and bathroom are clean and two cupboards have been tidied and de cluttered.
Had a lovely, funny on line chat with my cousin this morning. She has such a wicked sense of humour. Also had a socially distance quick hello with some new neighbours. They seem very nice and have such a cute little toddler. Another child for Himself to spoil.
We have just been watching a programme about rebuilding Notre Dame. Such clever people. Fascinating how they do it. We were there when it went on fire. It was so sad.
So apparently there is a crucial football match on TV tonight. Guess who will be in bed reading?

Afternoon all...
Well we are just passed the mid-month line so I figured I should dust off the pom-poms and do some cheerleading!!! How is everyone doing with their goals... are you on track? I just re-visited mine and so far so good.
Started back at work this month which has been very strange - but also positive. I notice my days are much more structured and I am getting more done. My step count has been pretty much on target although mindfulness and fruit and veg intake intake has been hit and miss.
No movement on Mum's respite yet - though she is on a waiting list. Hopefully we should hear a date this/next month.
NSDs a little all over and am finding when I go for my walk I inevitably swing by Arseda to pick up some things I probably don't really need - or could have saved for another day and thus missed out on a NSD. Will try better for the second half of this month. Was lucky enough to get a bit of mula from the folks this month as a gift - and so have managed to get a month ahead at last (i.e. all money for bills and living expenses put aside for April). I have also paid a chunk off my debt and brought the DFD down from Feb 2024 to May 2023 (based on an ongoing debt payment per month @ £300 per month). It still seems like forever away but I will get there!!!
Anyway - stay well everyone. I'll try and pop in and do some cheering before month's end! 😊👋🏻⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Evening all, NSD number 12 here, woo hoo! Am definitely on track this month which makes a change. I swear I have 2 or 3 months a year when I'm on track or ahead of myself, the rest is just chaos. Luckily work is keeping me busy which helps with the temptation to spend, there's no time to go online when you have reports coming out of your ears! I got some veggie and real meatballs done in the slow cooker today during work but not much else.
Grateful for yummy food smells all day from the slow cooker, being one day closer to the weekend, and a negative lateral flow test.7 -
Today I am grateful for a good day at work, for finding a parking spot at liddle, for dd needing no painkillers (yet...!), for fat yellow crosses and blue hyacinths in the garden, for email.

Not a lot done today, definitely need a 'rest' day in between each 'digging' day - stomach muscles started to cramp just after I went out, but emptied 6 buckets filled yesterday into my builders' bag (it holds 1000 kgs apparently) and did a good rubbish sort including kitchen bin out and crushed the accumulated cans. Need a radical sort out in here.
Grateful for yummy food (leftovers from yesterday and something suggested by mum - tweaked it a bit), wearing clothes to rags (oldest dress has gone in the wash but won't be long until the clusters of holes join together), bit of down time (shuffling things around and more stuff packed away). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -

Thursday-still on 12 NSDs, but I now have milk. And carrots. Managed not to buy anything else so that's all good.
Madly busy at work and home very late, so not done much else. Looking forward to my weekend off.

facethemusic - going to try smaller plate this weekend.abundant - thanks for the cheering, keep going you will get there.Foxholes - chocolate pigging out here has to stop, just when I thought I could resist mini eggs I found Dime bars caramel latte flavour, ate 4 yesterday but was tad upset. My bathroom is not going to plan, a tile fell down from underneath the window and marked my shiny new bath. If it was a big firm tiling I could get the bath replaced instead will have to order some fibreglass repair kit. Gutted it was just an accident so can't blame the lad doing it but so excited for my new bath and its taken the sparkle off it. Not huge and worse things going on in the world but saved up for this so bit sad.Got asked yesterday on a dating site last time I went on a date? Really made me realise 2 years ago how little time I spend on myself, always jobs around house, garden and gkids at weekend. Going to start putting myself first. Haircut tomorrow looking forward to that, especially not been able to wash my hair this week. Had showers at my dd but didn't want to leave shower all covered in hair.NSD 9/17 I could do this. Need milk and some veg today.Freezer stocks look low, but with all the mess in the house might grab a takeaway over the weekend.Grateful forThe weekend here spend more time with the bathroom fitter ;-(My garden bulbs coming up everywhere, had a walk around yesterday.Possible date lined up !LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/225
