Just in case you missed it, here's April:
NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2 -
Well it's certainly been a rollercoaster ride of a month, depths of despair and moments of serenity, joy and contentment. No idea where I am on NSDs (mum needing things when I could have managed without shopping).
Definitely changed my mindset - mum upset me again this morning, went back in my room and then ten minutes later I felt fine. Without my even noticing, my 'ignore it or laugh it off' process kicked in. Really bouncing back. I am more aware of tiny changes, noticed a couple of bad habits creeping back in and some physical signs that I am run down - have made notes of things I want to do more of next month, some small goals (but more focused) and some things to be hyper vigilant about.
Thanks for the challenge apple.
Grateful for nearly having finished my digging (back bed only, when this is completed I need to start on the side bed and mum wants some changes - moving it further away from the window), for yummy food (use ups and prepped on Sunday stuff), for sunshine, books, good drama series.

When do you get your second jab @mothernerd ? Surely can't be long now, you will be sensible, keep masking and socially distancing, and be jab-covered, then you will have a little bit more freedom. I don't know if it is the same with you, but we have a vaccine non-wastage system when you can book in for the jab (even if you are not in the age range for vaccination ) if it is in danger of being wasted. Mind you, people might be more sensible up your way.Keep patrolling the perimeter fence.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

They seem to be making us wait the full twelve weeks (because it's done through our doctor's they only tell you one appointment - the online service gave dates for both but the 2 - 3 hours travelling each way put me off). Toddling across to the sports centre suits me just fine. Mum was done in January so expecting a call for her to get her second jab soon. Mine's probably going to be June or even July. I'm not rushing to socialise, too many people making demands and only doing the bare minimum to conform. Mum had a visitor from church yesterday (they have a rota and someone phones her each week). I went to see what was happening and mum was by the gate and no mask on.
Not sure what the next stage is. Hoping I can have some days at home (just in the yard - would like to set stuff growing properly there again) or out walking (tottering round the country park and having a sit down in the bird hides) but may keep sleeping here. Don't feel up to jumping in and out of taxis each day and will be keeping to deliveries for most things. Got to sort out the mess at my house (some minor repair level issues) but don't want to live in the middle of it (especially as DS3 is using my bed atm).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4
