Well, it's been quite a morning already! Went out for a lovely walk, and then in the rush for the loo dropped my phone in the loo...I mean really. How ridiculous! It is drying out now. Watched a pile of youtube videos to assesses the best methods.
Beautiful present parcel arrived from DD. ❤️

DrC - do always dry it out for twice the amount of time you think it needs. Dampness hides in all the nooks and crannies.

A few more cupboards tidied and a bit of declutteing done. Loads still to do but every little helps. I'm going to tackle sorting out my clothes tomorrow. I'm afraid most of them are a bit too tight. Washing all done as well. Drying upstairs as the weather hasn't improved much.
Idee2111 - We've decided no to book any holidays at all either here or abroad until we see how the land lies. We're maybe being a bit ultra cautious because last year we had to come back early in March and we were severely restricted in what we could do in October. It was all a bit weird. Where are you planning to go?Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
NSD no.23. Still going through a tiny amount of things to declutter, things were either binned or put into recycling bin. Two things have been added onto the cs pile.
Grateful for:
Lovely weather.
Got free handcream and handsoap.

Possibly Florida @Toni'sfriend. Would like to take DS before being bound to school holidays. It’s not a frugal holiday by any stretch of the imagination. We saved the money to go this year but I wouldn’t chance it. Seriously considering booking for next year though and have checked out all the insurance T&Cs and flexibility with potentially having to rearrange.
@DrCarrie that’s a pain. OH has soaked a couple of phones and left them in a bag of rice overnight. The most soaked didn’t make it out alive unfortunately.Tuesday is NSD 12/17.
Good day at work. On my break, I enjoyed wrapping OH’s and DS’s birthday presents.
Listed a couple of DS’s things on Gtree. He’s growing every day and I have enough outgrown clothes and toys/books to fill another charity bag!
Grateful for morning birdsong, a dry and sunny day, presents arriving.

Today I am grateful for getting my first 60 mins totally on my own in the house since mid December, for drying the washing on the climbing frame, for offering said climbing frame to a neighbour and she wants it (yay!), for a good counselling session, for dh having a little extra work.

Bedding washed and line dried, big wooly quilt freshened up outside. Shifted soil around until I had 24 empty buckets (30 litre, 40 litre and baby ones are 10 litres) and have refilled 7 of them. Arms are really aching. Drank lots of water, watched an hour of my serial, finished my book, did puzzles, no money spent.
Grateful for lovely food, using things up and sunny weather (will need to start slapping on the factor 50 soon). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
