afternoon turtles
Lovely day here after a rainy start. Had a long lunch break and walked by the canal at lunch. Small spends made. Rang a plumber and sent photos of my non working shower - not sure what he can tell by looking at a picture of a shower head and remote control but then i'm not a plumber am i??!
gratitudes - it's friday; nice video chats with colleagues; sunshine and saw a nesting swan on our walk

Hi all, and happy FRIYAY!
NSD number 18 today, I hit my target for the month, woo hoo! Work kept me super busy, it keeps me out of trouble and it's actually been okay the last few days. Back still hurts, didn't go for my daily walk today as weather was yuck! Doesn't normally stop me but I wasn't feeling it today.
Grateful for staying in the warm and dry, a lovely hot bath with bath salts, and it being the weekend.5 -
Very grateful for it being Friday- and one of our paydays
also thankful to have reconnected with a friend from primary and secondary school that I've not seen in around 35 years!! - ok - I still haven't seen them - but we have plans for when we can! 😁🍮🍰
Not a NSD - bought some farmshop sausages for the weekend and a few essentials from l1d1 and some stuff to clean and oil the decking from Wilk0s. Most extravagant / unnecessary / impulse purchase was £3 on a pack of pap3rmat3 brand coloured pens - but I think I can claim that using my £5 spend mentioned in the challenge (was that this month...? - I may be confused with last month!) 😁😁😁I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £204 -
Today was also not a NSD, but I did a nice thing for a fellow human being, so sticking on NSD 11 but with a Karma rating of 100 bonus points. School is over until 12th April. Should not have an opportunity to spend until Monday at the earliest, and hopefully not even then! I am going to try and aim not to spend for the rest of the month, which should put me on 16 NSDs. I quite fancy making do and mending for the rest of the month. There is petrol in the car and food in the kitchen.Posted friends and family gifts today - all birthdays for April have been bought for and most have been sent already, so I am ahead of myself, and still in budget. Limbo time until payday on 31st but there is money left over, which is the main thing.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

NSD today but it didn't require much effort, couldn't't wait to get hime and put my feet up. I spoke to one of the senior staff today about workload and discovered that there were opportunities over lockdown to do certain things to make more time for other things but no-one had bothered to give me the message so I'm a bit cross (understatement) abut that and I made sure that this was known. Too late to make much difference now unfortunately.

Today I am grateful for not having to return to a+e with dd, for walking to and from aldee and getting some gf hot X buns, for getting our own car back (the courtesy one freaked me out, and I was the one who had to use it for work- dh only drove it put in 10p of petrol this morning), for daffs and tulips, for extra rugby on a fri night (but WHO designed the Scottish shorts (white) with a yellow streak on the inner leg???????)

I find the golden crescent at the base of the spine most terrifying @apple_muncher I remember some babygrow / nappy explosions like that. Whoever it was should not get the contract renewed.

Friday- had to buy milk, so a very low spend day but it keeps me on 17/17 NSDs.
Busy at work, bit of pony time and an after school trip to the park with DD and that was the day gone.
Grateful for- the rugby result, some laughs with the other parents at the park and the cat snuggled up on my lap.4 -
Morning Turtles,
So yesterday I did a balance transfer, had an offer for 0% until November 2022. I have already set up a fixed DD to be able to pay to off in the allotted time. Hoping to get an offer on the cleared CC in the not too distant future, and then it will be very much with it on the Snowball calculator. So CC shuffles.
Had such a busy day at work yesterday, and it's going to be like that for all of next week as I am covering for someone on leave. Certainly earning my money in this new job!
Spend day yesterday and likely to be today too. Might just make the 17 NSD target!
Gratitudes for yesterday
- lots of veggies
- comfy desk space
