Hi Sorry for venting slightly off topic yesterday. Today I'm grateful for my new walk to work scheme, for my students doing practical work in the class room, and for having an other go on naughty test from yesterday. It has been reset, I new need to reset my brain as well.
I am suspecting lunch was too healthy and that I will buy a snack on the way home, but if I do - then so be it.
@Calling14 sorry about your bath, he probably should have covered it.
@f0xh0les it's just one more week, time for the weekend now, don't worry about the choc, Friday is sweets and treat day, so you're allowed and tomorrow it's the weekend. When the back to school settle after Easter it should get easier.
@facethemusiccarrots are a staple, we can never run out of carrots, the dog loves them.
@mothernerd impressed you are getting on with the gardening. I think 'my' squirrel is digging more in my garden than I am at the moment, looking for lost acorns.
@DrCarrie hope you are well
@apple_muncher hope your dd is getting better.
@lcc86 good for not spending, I have managed to not spend anything since last weekend (when I over stuffed my fridge)
@abundant1972 I shake my pompoms at the halfway moon, as I only have £50 left of my budget. Impressed you have cut about a year off your debt payments.
@Toni'sfriend its good to have a chat with friendly folks, I miss random kindness :-)
Tonight is sausages and mash, with a grand old salad. A couple of tests and a movie, sort of hoping the young one is at work - so I can have the house to myself!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

)
Yes, Ditty, it is nice to have a little chat with people. The family are really settling in now. Not sure where they are from originally but they are really making friends which is lovely.
So a quick tidy, planted some cornflowers and violas and that's about it. Retrieved some very spicy carrot soup and bread from the freezer for lunch and sea bass (ditto) for dinner. Freezers definitely beginning to look more respectable although I haven't looked at "Himself's shelf* which has goodness knows what in it.
I think the squirrel has been digging in my pansies as well, Ditty.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Evening all, NSD here, just a very quick check in as spent 6 hours writing a report today and am thoroughly sick of looking at a screen! Hope everyone has a good weekend!7

Friday- NSD 13.
I had a rubbish day at work, so am very sad and grumpy. I have eaten more chocolate than actual food for dinner and am thinking about opening a bottle of wine, but that may be a very bad idea 🙈.
Struggling to be grateful for much tonight, but I had chocolate in the house, DD did a jigsaw which occupied her for half an hour without me, and I'm off tomorrow.

Today I am grateful for dh getting his vax jab, for getting myself out for an early morning waddle, for smooth buses for me when I nipped up to dd's school to collect her covid tests kit, for making myself do some exam/TAGS/mfl consultation admin, for a book arriving for dd from my sis.I keep telling dd to keep drinking her water and she has now started singing back at me: drinka drinka drink to Lily the pinka pinka pink, the saviour of the human ra-a-ace; for she invented medicinal compound, most efficacious in every way. Hi everyone
Been really busy at work so no time to catch up plus tried to avoid the screen late in the evening.
Been having lots of spends this week, not huge but it is DD2's birthday today so i have bought her a couple of gifts during the week plus pizza as a treat for her tea.
I could've had a NSD on Tuesday but i had enough money to last to payday (today) so i decided to ............................................. PAY OFF MY LAST BIT OF DEBT !!!!!!! I've been in debt for around 14 years but i haven't used my CC since October 2018 and have been slowly chipping away at the debt. Every day since Tuesday i have woken up and thought 'i'm debt free'! Such a relief
Gratitudes - DD2 having a lovely birthday; supportive colleagues; lovely book group friends
