Hi turtles I am on NSD 5.
This week so far all my meals from stores and have meal planned. I have stuck to the plan more or less however bf has had 2 takeaways this week. I let him get on with it. It helps that I finish work late during the week so he can't tempt me!!
Food spends within budget.I need to buy an office chair so that will be the next big spend but I am having a good month so far money work wise.
Exercise going well too.
Time management with class planning not going so well, that will be next week’s focus.
Grateful for a lazy Friday morning, for having enough work, for sunshine and of course coffee.

Morning turtles, I have been absent because I was avoiding my laptop after the essay...traumatising!
Anyway, I have racked up another 2 NSD's and am back in balance with that! with NSD's being more than spend days this month thus far.
Been super tired, and not done any exercise at all
Done nothing for Mother's day...eek.
Gratitudes
- lovely call with my DD last night
- being able to have the windows open for a good old blow through freshening up the flat
- New job is very busy, but am getting into the swing now!
Not sure I will be back until Sunday night, so have a good weekend all.

Morning all, so I am finally having my citizenship ceremony today and it is on teams in the middle of a work day. And that is basically how I see it - a matter of business, the business of living in a country for a long time. But how do I celebrate it? Or do I just ignore? I think I'll just make a nice dinner, something British perhaps? Whats the most British (but yummy) dish, maybe a curry, or hmm. Still wondering about that one.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Oh @ditty1234 !! Congratulations! What about scones? a Bath Bun? An Eccles cake? Victoria sponge? Canterbury Tart ? (sounds like an insult
) apple crumble? Suffolk pond pudding? or anything else you can stick a candle on.
You absolutely celebrate it after the year we have had ( I am not a flag waving nutter at all, I promise) with whatever you want to. Who is British anyway? those from Norman descent, or those from Viking or Celtic descent? Anyone who wants to be !!If it means fish chips and mushy peas, or a korma, or beans on toast, you have whatever you enjoy. After all, the most British thing in the whole wide world is a cup of tea- that well known traditional arable cropfollowed closely by a potato.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Manic week glad it's almost over. Finally got all the materials ordered for my bathroom, need to run about a bit on errands after work as well. Bit worried that I am spending money following yesterdays news eek.Yesterday faced with the fact that redundancy will be hitting me at some point soon, they have to give me 12 weeks notice. I have worked here for 18 years so will get some redundancy but then probably won't get any benefits if I can't find a job. Seaside town with nothing opening up not looking likely.! At least with this forum I have learnt to budget and cut down a lot.Grateful forHairdressers opening next week and I have an appointment.Bday pressie and new baby pressies got. Evening all, happy Friday!
Didn't get a chance to post yesterday as had a mad day at work, didn't get home until nearly 8pm... I bought a small lunch as I completely ran out of bread, soup, everything! Luckily we had a delivery last night. I saw 4 work colleagues yesterday in our new-to-us office and it was just so nice to see real people! Had some after effects from my vaccine and felt a bit rubbish so went to bed as soon as I'd eaten and was absolutely knocked out for the night, but feel great today!
Had physio this morning, making good progress there. Mustn't stop now! Started work late and finished early as I've worked way too much already this week, have had a bath filled with lovely bath salts to relax already before doing dinner.4
