Today I am grateful for good bus connections, a great day at work, lovely conversations with pupils, for dh and dd picking me me from the bus interchange at the end of the day, for being able to run a bit.

Hi sorry I'm not up to date with reading, but it's back to school week and I'm working flat out - just wanted to stop by to share my gratitude that my banana have come back from the root clump The stem blew off the 5 foot specimen in October, and then rotted in the rain for a few more weeks. Finally I felt bad for it and tidied it up and put root clump in 2 pots and threw the rest away. One of them now has 2 7 mm leaves in just a week, from me suspecting it was not a weed. I have now moved it indoor for a bit of a grow burst, and well away from slugs until it gets a bit bigger.
Bought running shoes yesterday, can't wait to try them on, and will need a few nsd days now after a bit of scatter spending.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Not a NSD but I'm being super organised. The little one's birthday is next month and I saw something she would love (she's such a girly girl). Much more expensive than I would have dreamed of spending but it was reduced and I had a 40% discount code plus a code for free delivery so that made it affordable. Bought her birthday card whilst I was at it. I suppose that reinforces the wisdom of having pots for various things so that you can take advantage of discounts.
The good news on the financial front today is that the local authority is not increasing the council tax. The water rate element will increase a little but I thought there was going to be a massive rate rise.
Just a little bit of tidying done today plus the washing and ironing. Really need to get right into the household chores. I keep seeing more and more things that need doing.
Thai chicken curry in the slow cooker. Really looking forward to that.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Today I am grateful for not getting caught in the rain, for dd getting a lift home, for working with some truly lovely people, for getting a present sorted for step dd2.

Today I am grateful to myself last night for thinking of writing out a timed list, so that I got where I needed to be, and what needed to be done was done at the right time. I did not leave any of my children by the side of the road, and everyone got to where they needed to be. Honestly, I was all over the place today in one hourly segments.Today was NSD5. Volunteering done. Made people happy. By 'eck I'm knackered tonight though.Life in the fast lane4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Walked to my vaccination appointment and back again, so no money spent. Washing out on line first thing -very wild so it dried quickly (kept checking as I saw the cover fly past the window a couple of times but the pegs held). Lots of moving around in my room, watered all the seeds, moved jigsaws to top of wardrobes and books back onto the shelves (some doubled up). Looking better but still some to do.
Grateful for my vaccination, only getting a bit wet, good reading. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
hi,
Not felt well this week, had a bad headache for a few days and been going to bed early. Achieved a couple more NSDs now at 8 x NSDs. Not been outside today except to hang out the washing! Did do a gentle pilates session on Fb.
Gratitudes - DD2 has now had the vaccine, still able to WfH (done exactly a year now!), getting washing dry on the line

Thursday- NSD 8/17.
Today has been rubbish on the food front- frozen pizza for tea, DD was happy and it was quick, but reinforces that meal planning is essential- last weekend we seemed to only plan for "almost" all the dinners 🤣. Back on track for tomorrow using up bits from the freezer.
Rode the pony, but the weather wasn't great so it was a very short exercise session.
Grateful today- for making the effort to ride even though the weather was bad- was worth it, DD doing her daily "chores" without a grumble, a new series of books for bedtime reading to DD which she is enjoying and makes a change for me from the usual ones I read every night. (Anyone got any idea when she will stop wanting a bedtime story? I think it's a great part of the day but am aware that I can't expect bedtime cuddles while I read forever!)7
