Sunday- still on 4/17 NSDs. Did the food shop yesterday, and had to go to another shop on the way home but we were running late and it was closed,so that was a trip this morning and a NSD lost!
Have had a good weekend, managed to fit in a run and an online workout, some baking, games with DD, a quick visit to my parents (in my support bubble, they see DD a lot while I'm at work but I haven't seen my dad for a couple of weeks) and have kept up with my 15 minute bursts of housework. I feel like I've had a relaxing couple of days but managed to stay on top of what needed doing. I am going to really try with the 15 minutes a day of cleaning- there are definitely bits of the house that need more work but I can see it being a good long term plan as long as I don't lose focus and let it slip.
Grateful today for - DD suggesting we do an online workout together, yummy choc and nut brownies, an early night last night meaning I felt great this morning.9 -
Grateful that I got started on a new set of collages, annoyed that the colours seems to not do what I want them to. Grateful for a quiet weekend, and slightly dreading full on work tomorrow. And today was NSD.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Today was NSD 5/17.
Weekend was nice - dry weather, woodland walk, and some tidying up the front garden. DS's job was to pick up all the balls of moss sitting in stoney areas. He took his role quite seriously - counting the moss balls as he found them and popping them into his little Halloween sweetie bucket. It was really cute. OH cleaned the car inside. And I did weeding.
I started back work today after 2 week's annual leave. It was a busy day, but productive. I could have worked on into this evening but I'm being strict/kind to myself, and not working over my hours. It has been too easy to get into that habit over the past year.
Grateful for an uninterrupted sleep last night, waking up to relaxing rainfall, tea in bed, a decent day at work, and DS having a good day at his new nursery.

Cold, wet, grey, miserable day but I woke up full of energy (an illusion - there were no caffeine free drinks available) so ignored the desire to pull up the bedclothes and disappear into a book and went out for a walk. Had to keep promising myself that if I only got to the end of the street it was better than nothing. Got up onto the canal bank and walked as far as the bridge (sat on the support for the road bridge, then went a little bit further to see if I could get down onto the path that runs alongside the golf course (country park on far side). Well they have levelled it out a lot (could see the steep fence I used to have to pull myself up with when it was wet and muddy). Walked a bit further and a bit further (no where to sit but leaned on a fence a couple of times). Maintenance men must have been round because a lot of undergrowth had been cut back.
Eventually reached the part of the roadway near the SM and crossed slowly (took lots of time to assess the cars' speed as there were more than I've seen in a while. Used a trolley to get myself along the length of the SM carpark and sat on a sheltered bench, then began the long walk home. Was out for about an hour and 20 minutes so must have been plodding for nearly an hour. For the last bit I was having to stop and hold onto each lamp-post for a few minutes.
Set the washer going. Had a shower and cleaned the shower screen afterwards (arm improved overnight). This afternoon I have been out to do a bit more digging - mostly pushing the spade in and levering cobble sized clods of earth, then picking them up (one or both hands according to size) and chucking them into the big bag. Some reading, some puzzling. Used my eyedrops and put a couple of new steps into my morning routine. Use ups for all meals and I have eaten most of a head of celery (kept it beside me all day).
Grateful for a walk, reading, doing some digging (if I can do a bit each day or even most days it will get done). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7
