Yes you do what the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread tells you at each stage.
Obviously no 'reply forms' are used.
Notice that it doesn't stop at LBC stage. But DCB will discontinue in the end.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have now received the “Letter of Claim” from DCB legal. Do I send the Newbies reply in the Reply form stated in the letter? Can anyone please advise what I should do next? The first few paragraphs of the second post of the NEWBIES thread explain exactly how to react upon receipt of a Letter Of Claim. Amongst other stuff it clearly says "DO NOT use the 'reply forms'. You do not have to declare your finances!"1 -
Eagle 229-Have you changed the VRM in your "Letter of Claim" from the real VRM?2

I’ve now just received a Claim form and the amount has gone up to £268.84!I was actually away from home for a long period and so I’ve actually missed the 30 day window that the Letter of Claim mentions. What do I do if I actually receive a claim?0

The NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, and Template Defence threads will help you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

So acknowledge it after Day 5 and then write up a defence?0

Just acknowledge it. Forget about day 5 or whatever. doing the AoS within 5 days of the date of issue has no bearing on the extended period that it gives you by doing so to file your defence. A claim that is acknowledged within the date of service period does not have the extension period reduced. A claim is deemed served 5 days after the issue date irrespective of whether the AoS is done before the date of service. I have had that confirmed by a judge.2
