@safc2011, when you have started your new thread, please tell us on there, not here, the exact date of the alleged parking event.
  • Just to confirm. After moving address I should contact UKPCltd to update their records at DPO@ukparkingcontrol.com  .

But no need to contact DCBL ltd?

They have added what appears to be an extra unlawful amount for debt collection. Judges have bben known dismissed an entire claim because this. Read this and complain to your MP.

    Excel v Wilkinson

At the Bradford County Court, District Judge Claire Jackson (now HHJ Jackson, a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge) decided to hear a 'test case' a few months ago, where £60 had been added to a parking charge despite Judges up and down the country repeatedly disallowing that sum and warning parking firms not to waste court time with such spurious claims.   That case was Excel v Wilkinson: G4QZ465V, heard in July 2020 and leave to appeal was refused and that route was not pursued.  The Judge concluded that such claims are proceedings with 'an improper collateral purpose'.   This Judge - and others who have since copied her words and struck dozens of cases out in late 2020 and into 2021 - went into significant detail and concluded that parking operators (such as this Claimant) are seeking to circumvent CPR 27.14 as well as breaching the Consumer Rights Act 2015.   DJ Hickinbottom has recently struck more cases out in that court area, stating: ''I find that striking out this claim is the only appropriate manner in which the disapproval of the court can be shown''.

You just require them to inform all of their agents and sub-contractors of your new data.
  • I previously had a thread with relation to some PCNs (now closed).

A Letter of Claim was received directly from the parking company but all went quiet after a SAR was requested. DCB (Ltd) have since popped up. All correspondence ignored as instructed on the NEWBIE thread and this one.

DCB (Legal) are now in touch with a Letter of Claim. SAR has already been obtained from previous. I presume a new SAR isn't needed and I just fire off the email to DCB Legal?

Please open a new thread if your old one about the case is now closed. Give a short synopsis of the background. Add a link to the closed thread please.

Just wanted to pop in here after many months and say, there’s hope for anyone being contacted by these bullies. With the help of this forum you can win. I recently got great pleasure in getting my CCJ set aside, I immediately emailed DCBL to tell them to go **** themselves. Slightly more politely. :p

    Keep the faith all.

Thanks, I got a response asking for my registration number. Should I provide my reg number? (by that I mean the one I had a "ticket" on).

Why would you want to conceal that?  I don't understand why you might be reticent in providing it.
