HiI received a letter of claim giving me 30 days to respond from a parking ticket with CP Plus whereby the original invoice was sent to an old address. I didn't know I had a ticket until the letter of claim which has come to my current address. DCBLegal have sent the letter of claim and the parking ticket is from 03/03/17.I looked at my previous bank statements to see where I was and what I bought on that day and it shows 2 trips to the same Macdonalds on this land. So they had me going in and going out on one time only but there were two separate trips. I can now kind of recall the day due to other payments from my bank account that day.Anyway, since DCBlegal have my current address, I'm assuming that the County Court claim will be from this current address and not sent to my old address! However, what are the chances they send it to my old address? I don't want to end up with a CCJ because it feels a bit sneaky. What's the best thing to do, the 30 days started from 26th July 2021.2017, I mean why wait this long to do this. I just successfully got rid of one case with Burger King but I knew I had that one.0

@JustBee - please start a new thread as your case is on track towards a court hearing.Send a 'data rectification' notification to the DPO of CP Plus telling them to 'erase' (use that word) your old address and replace with new one. Tell them to notify all agents with whom they have shared your data to do likewise. Otherwise you risk a claim going to your old address, you being blissfully unaware, until you check your credit rating and you realise you have a CCJ that has the potential to blight your life for the next 6 years.2017, I mean why wait this long to do this.Because they can - they have 6 years - and COVID-19 has destroyed their income lines, they need sustenance! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi everyone! I have read a couple of threads but couldn’t see anything to match the answer for me. I received a letter from DCBL over a contravention from 2017. They have said I have 14 days to pay£150 and then will most likely be in touch with me again. They sent me a PCN in 2017 which did ignore following some advice online but then I got a CCJ for it! ( so you can see why I’m scared about this one!) I called them as I believe they are talking about the same thing but this time the claimant name is different. Before it was vehicle control services limited and now it’s different. What should I do, I think they are trying to collect for the same debt even though I paid this! ( I don’t have the old PCN number as when I paid it I thought that was it) Any help would be appreciated. Please see letter sent from them attached.
was this in Scotland?

I have read through reams and reams of posts regarding these letters.
I have received 9 letters from DCBL regarding PCNS in a private car park . These letters are the first that I have received regarding this matter.
The 14 days are up on the 17th of Aug. As advised by the threads I havent contacted DCBL.
As I didnt receive the PCNs I can no longer appeal. The tickets were allegedly issued in 2018 however , for each of the alleged offences i assumed that i was on a car park list. However, i have since found out that an incorrect number plate was supplied to the private parking firm. They have acknowledged to the Employer that this is the case. However, that i should have responded to the previous PCNS but i did not receive them. They also stipulate that on one of the alleged offences i was parked in a hatched area i checked the details of the pcn number from the debt collectors letter on New Generation parkings website and this isnt the case. Also they have advised that there are 19 offences however, i have only received 9 letters from dcbl.
So in a nutshell:
1) does the date of contravention on the letter from DCBL have to match the date of the photographic evidence of the PCN
2) Can i apply for a SARS access request at this stage would this prove that the original pcns were never issued and all the data they hold on me. Also the other pcns?
3) as i parked there thinking that i was on the list surely no breach has occurred as when my number
Plate was issued it was one digit out
4 ) I am not sure of the next course of action can anyone help please?0 -
